- Define On-Premise and walk through evolution --------------------- Ariba becomes the industry leader in Spend Management Solutions Provided On-Premise products for Sourcing, Contracts, Procurement, and Invoicing Ariba releases both 9r1 (On-Premise) and 9s1 (OnDemand) Offered both On-Premise and SaaS (OnDemand) technology First time we had a single code platform between solutions to provide innovation to all technology platforms in the future while also providing a lower TCO Ariba launches the Ariba Commerce Cloud Make commerce easier for install base and SaaS customers Ariba Discovery, AN49 Innovation to support specific technology needs -------------------------------- We knew we had the best eProcurement techology and software in the world, deployed to some of the largest companies in the world. These companies have deployed our technology globally, adopted the network and our solutions Next we had to get the software onto one code stack (due to M&As like Freemarkets we had different coding in products) Moving this to 1 code base provides lower TCO for 9r1 customers With On-Premise customers migrating to 9r1 we focused on SaaS 9s1 was the same base technology footprint as 9r1. For the first time we now we had 1 technology platform / code base, which was available in two different models (On-Premise and OND) Next two years was focused on getting OND capabilities to the level of some of our most widely deployed On-Premise customers Now that we have 1 code stack, two delivery models, we are focused on commerce and can provide innovation to both solution sets (upstream/downstream, On-Premise or OND)
