8. BUS ORGANISATION:
BUS is the set of Interconnecting lines between microprocessors and
peripheral.
It helps the microprocessor to communicate with peripheral I/O or
Memory.

9. Basic Operations of µp: 9
Memory read- Read data from memory
Memory Write-Write data to memory
I/O read-read data from Input/output
I/O Write-Write data to Input/output

11. Step 1: Identify the peripheral(Memory or I/O)
Step 2: Transfer Binary Information
Step 3:provide time and Synchronization Signal
To Communicate the peripherals µp needs
following steps
12. Types of BUS: 12
ADDRESS BUS
CONTROL BUS
DATA BUS
13. Address bus (Unidirectional)- carries memory addresses from
the processor to other components such as primary storage
and input/output devices.
Data bus (Bidirectional)- carries the data between the
processor and other components.
Control bus - carries control signals from the processor to
other components.
