- 2. Process I took some images for my magazine at the basketball court at my local park. This was easy for me to do as the court is about two minutes away from my house. The person I used for the photos is my friend Taylor. He plays for the college basketball team. I used my camera to take these photos. Since Louis said the other day that I could do an interview with one of the players on the college team, I have stuck with that idea and I plan on interviewing Taylor for my magazine article.

- 5. Process I made my magazine cover on photoshop. I edited the image of Taylor holding the ball by using the background eraser tools since I wanted the background to be of a basketball court. My original plan was to have someone holding the basketball in one hand but since this is quite difficult to do I just told him to hold it out towards the camera instead. For the double page spread I wanted a photo of Taylor shooting the basketball. The photo I took wasn’t great quality though since it is a bit blurred. I do like this photo however and I plan on using it for my double page spread since half of the photo has Taylor and the other half is just the court so I figured I could use the text on the side with just the court so this way it isn’t covering up my main image.
- 6. Questions and answers for article So you are 4 months into the college basketball season. How are you finding it so far and how do you think you are playing? I’m enjoying it, yeah. It’s kind of adapting to a team it’s quite hard from secondary basketball but I think I’m finding myself doing well, getting a few points and a few assists but it is about the team really. How did you find the game the other day? It was good yeah, except from the arguments, we played really well as a team, we adapted really well, and I think they (John Leggot) are a worse team than we are but we put our heads in, got involved and came out with a win. Do you have any main aims for this season? Just to really improve, get a few points, get a few assists and just try to get the team to play as well as we can do, and help the team try get to the finals. Do you think the other Vale of York Academy players are going to have a positive impact on the team? Mason impacts it very well because he’s quite fast and quite agile and Frank Savage is a good all-round player, he’s good at setting screens and quite a good asset to the team and I haven’t really seen much of Ben Barnes he hasn’t played much in the team, so I haven’t seen much of him. Do you have any favorite NBA players that you like and why? Probably Steph Curry because of his shooting. I’m not really big on NBA teams but if I had to pick one, Steph Curry. I enjoy him as a player.
- 7. Since the photo I planned on using for both pages of my double page spread was a little blurred I decided to take some more images when the York College basketball team were playing. Most of my images were quite blurry however so I took two at the end of just Taylor on his own.
