INTRODUCTION
 Wireless communications is the transferring of information between
two or more points which are not physically connected.
 Distances can be short, which is used for television remote control and
even far distance which is used for deep-space radio communications.
 This deals with the evolutions of technologies and its advantages and
comparative study on 0G to 6G and overview of 6g technology.
There are numerous transmissions medium like radio wave,
microwave, infra-red, GPS and Bluetooth are utilized to exchange of
information by means of voice, content, video, 2-dimensional
barcodes and the sky is the limit from there.
Technology is progressively its request in numerous organizations and
individuals' close to home utilize particularly innovation.
WHAT IS MOBILE PHONE ?
 A mobile phone is a device that can make and receive telephone calls
over a radio link while moving around a wide geographic area.
 Mobile phone used wireless communication for its information
exchange.
 Variety of tasks can be perform at any time anywhere.
 Mobile technology is the technology which is portable.

0G TECHNOLOGY (Mobile Radio Telephone system)
 The Zero Generation (0G) of mobile in 1945.
 Mobile Telephone technology service, based on “HANDOVER”.
 Loggers, construction foremen, and celebrities, they used them for
basic voice communication.
 Technologies were used in 0G.
 PTT (Push to Talk), MTS (Mobile Telephone System), IMTS (Improved
Mobile Telephone System).

1G TECHNOLOGY (First Generation)
 1G refers to the first generation of wireless telephone technology,
mobile telecommunications which was first introduced in 1980s.
 It allows the voice call in one country.
 1G network use analog signal to information exchange.
 1G technology having the speed up to 2.4 Kbps.
10
 Based on analog system.
 Technologies were used in 1G
 PTT
 MTS
 AMTS
 IMTS

12
2G TECHNOLOGY (Second Generation)
 2G technology was developed in 1990.
 Speed up to 64 Kbps.
 2G technology based on digital system.
 Service such as digital voice & SMS with more clarity.
 The technology used in 2G is GSM .
 It provides better quality and capacity.
13

14
2.5G TECHNOLOGY
 2.5G is a technology between the second (2G) and third (3G)
generation of mobile telephony.
 2.5G is sometimes describe as 2G cellular technology combined with
GPRS and GSM.
 Features included
 Web browsing, Send/Receive E-mail messages.
 Speed up to 64 – 144 Kbps
 2.5G technology provide camera phones. 15
Fig.4 2.5G Mobile technology
16
3G TECHNOLOGY (Third Generation)
 3G technology was introduced in 2000s.
 Data transmission speed increased from 144 Kbps – 2 Mbps.
 3G technology Provide faster communication.
 Super voice Quality.
 In 3G technology we can Send/Receive large E-mail messages.
17
 High speed web browsing and provide more security.
 Features
 Video conferencing.
 3D gaming, TV streaming, mobile TV.
18

19
4G TECHNOLOGY (Fourth Generation)
 4G technology was introduced in 2004s.
 Capable for providing 300 Mbps speed.
 4G technology is a IP based mobility.
 Both cellular and broadband multimedia services everywhere.
 It has smooth global roaming with lower cost.
20
 Technologies
 3GPP : 3rd generation partnership project.
 LTE : Long Term Evolution.
21
Fig.6 4G Mobile technology
22
5G TECHNOLOGY (Fifth Generation)
 5G technology was started from late 2010s.
 5G technology is complete wireless communication with no
limitations.
 It is highly supportable to WWWW(Wireless World Wide Web).
 5G mobile network is based on Open Wireless Architecture (OWA).
 Speed up to 1 Gbps.
23
 All mobile networks will use mobile IP.
 A mobile can be attached to several mobiles or wireless network at a
same time.
 5G technology requires smart antennas.
 5G technology Provide encryption, flexibility and anti-virus.
 5G technology having the features of Large phone memory, more
diagonal speed, more quality in audio and video.
24
Fig.6 5G Mobile technology
25
6G TECHNOLOGY (Next generation technology)
 It is the technology with complete wireless network with no limitation.
 6g technology is considered to be cheap and fast internet technology,
and it having the transmission speed in Terabit range.
 6G is proposed to integrate 5G with satellite networks for global
coverage.
 6G technology provide zero distance connectivity between peoples.
26
 6G broadband services by rolling out of its air fiber network.
 In 6G technology the internet can be transmit and receives through
the air.
 6G has fast broad band signals through the air at high speed optical
fibers lines to transmit the secured information from transmitters to
destinations.
27

COMPARISON OF WIRED TECHNOLOGY AND
AIR FIBER TRANSMISSION OF 6G TECHNOLOGY
29
 Old wired technology
 It is the technology through wire as the name shows.
 More people in our neighborhood using network causes to slow down our
connection.
 This wired transmission produce many package losses, it called packet loss.
 for example, its like the traffic jam; when many vehicles passing through the
same way one vehicles control its speed depends on other vehicles.
Fig.8 Old technology
30
31
 6G Wireless technology
 In 6G the data passes through the cloud by air fiber technology.
 Therefore it doesn’t have package losses.
 The data transmission of 6G technology is extremely fast.
 The data is collected by smart antennas
Fig.9 6G technology 32
FEATURES
 6G technology having the frequency of 5.8 GHz.
 6G technology provide ultra broadband internet service.
 This technology used mobiles needed more storage capacity.
 6G technology provide 3D internet concept.
 Space technology and Defense applications will be modified with 6G
network.
33
 6G provides home automation and other related applications and it
also provides home based ATM system.
34
ADVANTAGE OF 6G TECHNOLGY
 6G technology protect your mobile and secure your data.
 It has super fast streaming without any buffering.
 6G technology provide real online gaming experience and reduce lag
while gamming.
 This technology is high efficient.
 The 6G technology can increase availability of social network.
35
 Natural disasters will be controlled with 6G networks.
 6G technology provides intelligent batteries and improve storage
capacity.
 It provide high mobile-TV resolution.
 6G technology creates smart Home, Cities and Village.
 Satellite to satellite communication for the development of mankind.
36
REQUIREMENTS
 Smart Antenna.
 6G technology require smart antenna for receiving the high speed internet .
 Need high capacity fiber optic network.
 For the transmission of high speed data in secured.
 Large internet memory in mobile.
 The availability of data is increased, so the storage also need to be increased.
37
CONCLUSION
Today mobile phones consist of everything ranging from the smallest
size, largest phone memory, speed dialing, video player, audio player,
and camera and so on.
The 6th generation (6G) wireless mobile communication networks
integrate satellites for global coverage.
It can be a combination of nanocore and artificial intelligence, where
all the network operators will be connected to one single core.

  • 29. COMPARISON OF WIRED TECHNOLOGY AND AIR FIBER TRANSMISSION OF 6G TECHNOLOGY 29  Old wired technology  It is the technology through wire as the name shows.  More people in our neighborhood using network causes to slow down our connection.  This wired transmission produce many package losses, it called packet loss.  for example, its like the traffic jam; when many vehicles passing through the same way one vehicles control its speed depends on other vehicles.
  • 31. 31  6G Wireless technology  In 6G the data passes through the cloud by air fiber technology.  Therefore it doesn’t have package losses.  The data transmission of 6G technology is extremely fast.  The data is collected by smart antennas
