The document evaluates the performance of five routing protocols (AODV, DSR, DSDV, OLSR, and DYMO) in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) using the NS-2 simulator. It analyzes how varying the number of nodes affects performance metrics such as packet delivery ratio, average end-to-end delay, normalized routing load, and average throughput. The study aims to identify the most efficient protocol under different scenarios, providing insights into the functionalities and mechanisms of these routing protocols.
