This study evaluated the anthelmintic potential of the hydro-alcoholic extract of Ailanthus excelsa stem bark. Earthworms (Pheretima posthuma) were used to test three concentrations of the extract: 100mg/5ml, 250mg/5ml, and 500mg/5ml. The time taken for paralysis and death of the earthworms decreased with increasing concentration. The highest concentration of 500mg/5ml caused paralysis in 60 minutes and death in 73 minutes, faster than the standard drug Piperazine citrate. The results suggest that the hydro-alcoholic extract of Ailanthus excelsa stem bark has significant anthelmintic potential in a concentration
