Memorize math facts
Use math concepts and vocabulary in
everyday life… measurement/fractions in
recipes; at lemonade stand, figure the cost
per serving for profit; when shopping figure
cost at 20% off or round to nearest dollar
and add to get total cost; calculate time and
mileage for road trips (ex. If grocery store is
3 miles away, how long does your child think
it will take to arrive)
