2. INTRODUCTION
In the next project I am going to present all the process that a child make in order to
learn the mother tongue, and how the child was interacting with her family to learn
the Spanish language.
In that process I made some observations where I was interacting with the girl and I
was observing all the movements that she did when she want to express something
and when she want to interact with other children or with the different members of
her family.
All the observations had some guide questions in order to analyze the process of
learning the mother tongue and how the context where the child is living can infer to
develop the language.
So, all the things that the girl can do in order to can express a sentence that she want
to say for obtaining things that she want and all the things that the girl had to done
for that her parents could understand her.
And finally I am going to present several evidences where the girl is expressing some
words and how the girls is doing some movements in order to express what she want
to say to her parents or her family.
3. SUMMARY
During all the semester I was observing to my nephew, she is the daughter of my
sister and she is two years old, she is a sociable girl because she is always interacting
with her family and she is always trying to talk with babblings with all the people
that are around her.
The first observations that I made about she, was about the interaction that she made
with her family and how she was trying to talk with her mother and with her father ,
the interaction that she made with those people was with movements or with games
that she likes to do such as; soccer, play with toys, and so on.
With all the observations I could infer that the process of learning a tongue mother
sometimes is difficult because the kids try to say something and their parents do not
understand and their parents try to understand the message but the babblings of the
kids are not clear for the parents and the kids are frustrated because their parents do
not give them the things that their like.
With the time the babblings are most clear that in the start and the kids are most clear
with the movements of their body, and their parents understand the message of the
sentences that kids want to express.
Basically all the process of observation was about the attitude of the girl made with
all the people that are about her and how she was learning words with some games
that her mother played with her such as; the ABC, computer games, and with
repetitions that her mother done with the girl in order to the girl could say the same
and could learn new words, and ways to say something to her grandparents or other
people.
