Adobe Digital Index’s 2014 U.S. Mobile Benchmark Report shows that the nature and use of mobile devices is changing in some unexpected ways. The main trend: ADI sees strong user movement toward larger screen devices—that is, greater than four inches in size. At the same time, Web browsing by smaller screen phones (four inches or less) is down year-over-year. And, tablet growth is flattening, as well, in the wake of these larger phones coming to the market. Will the future of mobile browsing be ruled by “phablet” devices?

What happens on social media is happening on mobile devices. Users are proactively looking to social for company research, to find job postings, and to see connections and contacts within their prospective employer. And they’re doing those activities on mobile.
Mobile has become the first and primary access point for job seekers to discover and learn about with employers. Integrating a social strategy with a mobile strategy is a critical step to engage and convert candidates.
There is a growing necessity for businesses to adopt mobile strategies as consumers increasingly use mobile apps and mobile sites as the popular default to Internet access.
South African Mobile Phone Use and Attitudes Report 2016Raymond Buckle
A Survey of Internet User’s Attitudes and Uses of Mobile Phones compared to those of Feature Phone users. Published February 2016 by Effective Measure in partnership with SilverstoneCIS and the IAB and MMA South Africa.
Effective Measure, a leading provider of digital audience, brand and advertising measurement together with SilverstoneCIS, a mobile first audience marketing and solutions group, surveyed 2,299 mobile Internet users in South Africa (between November and December, 2015).
Topics covered a range of areas including but not limited to users’ manufacturer preference, time on device, use of device and internet usage.
The survey was conducted across smartphones and feature
phones to highlight the differences in user consumption across the two types of mobile Internet connections.
The use of Mobile technology in the workplace is increasing rapidly. As businesses adopt the latest gadgets, research into the effects of working in a 'wired' world also suggest using caution and setting usage guidelines.
A presentation I did with my teammates: David Larson, Carrie Murphy, David Schwartz, and Ben Serio. Presentation for my MBA Management Marketing class, Arizona State University.
