The document summarizes a research study on developing a multi-sensor based method for detecting uncut crop edges in a head-feeding combine harvester. Key findings include:
1) Sensors including a laser range finder, RTK-GPS, and GPS compass were used to generate 3D terrain maps and detect uncut crop edges in real-time with an average processing speed of 35 ms.
2) The method was able to extract uncut crop edges with an average lateral offset of 0.154 m from the actual edge and estimate average crop height as 0.537 m.
3) While the method performed well generally, its accuracy decreased when the target path was obscured by lodged rice plants.

Extending car to explain social media adoption byDebashish Mandal
This paper establishes inadequacies of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) theory to explain social media adoption by microbusinesses. Literature review confirms the explaining power of UTAUT in variety of technology adoption by businesses. This paper uses UTAUT theory to implement social media technology in microbusinesses. Canonical action research method is adopted to introduce social media in microbusinesses. A post positivist approach is used to report the results based on a predetermined premise. It was found that the major constructs of performance and effort expectancy played insignificant role in establishing behavioural and adoption intention of social media by microbusinesses. Social influence and facilitating condition did not influence the behavioural intentions of the microbusiness owners. Individual characteristics and codification effort dominated the use behaviour. Goal of gaining customers leads to behavioural modification resulting in replacing of behavioural intention with goals as a superior method of predicting adoption behaviour within the context of microbusinesses. This paper extends the UTAUT to explain social media adoption in microbusinesses.
The document provides an overview of key considerations for developing a strategic plan, including defining the scope, understanding the context and audience, focusing on usability and training, establishing metrics and feedback mechanisms, and ensuring the plan takes the organization to where it needs to be. The summary highlights people, technology, processes, navigation, and metrics as essential elements to address at a high level.

Targeting change efforts at organizational subsystemsSharon Johnson
This document discusses different approaches to organizational change interventions at the subsystem level. It identifies several "transformation arenas" that change efforts can target, each with their own perspectives, problems, promoters, perils, promises, and points. These arenas include decision-focused, psychologically-focused, learning-focused, economics-focused, politically-focused, entrepreneurially-focused, bureaucratically-focused, value-focused, and environmentally-focused change interventions. It observes that change is constantly occurring in organizations in different degrees and stages, but is also resisted for real and perceived reasons, and that not all resistance is negative.
