I taught a class of 62 students on the topic of area of quadrilaterals using new interactive teaching methods. I divided students into 5 houses and assigned them to create things using mathematical shapes like triangles and rectangles to encourage collaboration. Each house worked hard to complete the assignment and the best performers in each house received gifts, motivating students to develop their skills and interact more in class.

WEEK : 21/11/16-25/11/16
I am teaching in 8E class which has 62 students. I tried to do number of methods
to improve interaction of the students in every class. As a result students will
interact each other and shows a higher result oriented work.In this week, I teach
the unit AREA OF QUADRILATERAL .In my class, my students will express their
ideas & thoughts related to the topic and we were discussing that accordingly
.New teaching methods are used in the class . So easy to improve students
ideology and creativity and also it will help to enjoy the mathematics class
activities . For this I created 5 houses among the students and gave an
assignment to my students that is to create different things using
MATHEMATICAL SHAPES like triangle, rectangle, parallelogram ,etc . Each and
every house members were work hard to complete this assignment and also i
encouraged the best perfomer in each house through gifts. These appreciation
and gifts were motivated the students to work hard and to develop their skills on
class and also each and every studenys interacted the classroom and they have
done their task.
