The teacher plans to teach kindergarten students about 2D and 3D shapes through hands-on activities. They will first watch a YouTube video explaining how to draw three 2D and three 3D shapes. Then, the students will each be given paper and paint to draw the six shapes themselves. Finally, the students' drawings will be displayed around the classroom for all to see.

Wednesday
A- I am going to be teaching 2D and 3D shapes to a class of kindergarteners between the
ages of 5 and 6, I plan on teaching this lesson in a rural area with a mix of boys and girls
in the classroom. I realize that I cannot just stand at the board and lecture because these
are small children that learn by hands on interaction. I need to also teach by making the
students participate in as much as possible.
S- Through a video, and an activity 100% of my class will learn to draw three 2D shapes
and three 3D shapes by the end of the day on Wednesday.
S- In order to teach this class of kindergarteners to draw a total of 6 shapes half 2D and
half 3D I am going to play them a video that explains how to draw the shapes. Next I am
going to give them paper and different colors of paint and they are going to draw their six
shapes. I will then display these shapes around the classroom
U- The students will first come in and I will have the YouTube video playing they will
learn how to draw the different shapes. Then I will pass out different sheets of paper and
paint and I will have each student finger paint three 2D shapes and three 3D shapes and I
will display their work around the classroom.
R- My learners will participate by watching a YouTube video and then doing an activity
where they will paint their own shapes.
E- I will evaluate my material that I use often by making changes as needed and I plan to
assess each of my students individually throughout the day making sure that they are
drawing the correct shapes. If a student messes up I will help them correct their mistake
and explain to them what they did wrong.
