This document discusses the target demographic and design choices for a magazine cover. It aims the magazine at males and females aged 16-23 by portraying the cover model in a sophisticated, older style to subvert stereotypes of young females. The inside spread features a strong, determined posture to portray young adults, mainly females, in a powerful light.

• I have subverted from the stereotypical female of a young
age. I did this by making the costume sophisticated and older
on the front cover.
I wanted to portray young adults (mainly females due to the
main artist) as strong and determined. I tried to do this by
the posture on the front cover and the main image on the
double page spread

I think that InterMedia would most likely
publish my magazine, this is because
they mostly focus on R&B and Hip Hop
music which is the type of magazine I
created. As they publish such a
mainstream music genre its more likely
that people that want to read about
things just in the R&B sector they
would look for thing such as Vibe and
other magazines that Intermedia has
published.
