2. Process
For my fishing magazine, I went old
fashioned and simple. I got an image
and used it as my magazine cover. I
made the inside of his hat darker with
the burn tool. I added a barcode and a
price in the left corner. Also, added a
title and some text. As the fisherman is
looking ahead I used it as part of the
text. I made the text stand out by using
drop shadow. This made it darker and
bolder. I used the distance, spread and
the size to make it look like that. For the
title, I also used drop shadow, where
again I used the distance, spread and
size to make it stand out so then the ‘L’
at the end doesn’t blend in with the
background.
3. Reflection
What elements of your experiments will you include in your final product?
I will include the drop shadow effect for my title to make it stand out and
make it bold in my final product. I will put more information when I do mine, I
didn’t on this magazine cover because I didn’t want to overpower it with text.
I wanted the fisherman to stand out. I didn’t add much to this fishing cover so
when I do mine I will add more to it as there will also be more information on
it.
