Responsible for setting objectives that are consistent with

administration competencies to achieve goals

He/she is responsible for people and activities with in the
department, they supervise.
Typically they act as a laison between upper and lower
manager.
Middle manager may be referred as a supervisor,
director or associate director of nursing.

They are primarily responsible for establishing
organization goals and strategic plans for the entire
division of nursing

nursing practice and patient care
