образованием, Д.А. Медведев считает
сохранение, качественное улучшение и
пополнение кадрового состава
преподавателей.
«Ключевая роль в школе принадлежит учителю, и нам необходимо
разработать систему моральных и материальных стимулов для
сохранения в школах лучших педагогов и постоянного повышения
их квалификации. И, что еще более важно, для пополнения школ
новым поколением учителей». В этой связи Президент России
заявил о том, что полностью поддерживает предложение
образовательного сообщества об объявлении 2010 года в России
Годом учителя. «Мы сделаем все, чтобы учитель стал уважаемой
фигурой в обществе.
Но и педагоги должны уважительно относиться к ученикам,
должны помогать им становиться самостоятельными,
творческими и уверенными в себе людьми».

В течение 2011 года для каждой школы надо
создать проект школы будущего – видение того,
как может развиваться школа. Разработка таких
проектов – это, конечно, дело прежде всего
учителей, нынешних и бывших учеников,
родителей.
Необходимо завершить создание общенациональной системы
поиска и поддержки талантливых детей. Возможность развивать
свои способности уже с раннего возраста должны иметь все, вне
зависимости от уровня доходов, социального положения родителей
и места жительства семей.

Стратегический приоритет политики в сфере
детства – это формирование и развитие
ценностей здорового образа жизни. Разумеется,
этот вопрос касается не только детей. Мы,
старшие, сами должны подавать
соответствующий пример.
Всему нашему обществу пора преодолеть инфантилизм в вопросах
здорового образа жизни. «Не воспитывая себя, сложно воспитать
своих детей», – отмечал ещё Лев Толстой. Между тем в России 80
процентов граждан не занимаются физкультурой и спортом – четыре
пятых населения.
У нас один из самых высоких в мире уровней курения в стране. При
этом возраст приобщения к табаку и алкоголю постоянно снижается.

И правильно подмеченноо,вчитнока«мниик. то в мире не чувствует новых вещей
сильнее, чем дети». Использование в обучении самых современных
информационных программ и высокотехнологичных продуктов надо
сделать нормой и обязательно предусмотреть в новых стандартах.
И учителя обязательно должны всему этому учиться. Недопустимо,
когда в школе ученики понимают современные коммуникации лучше,
чем учителя, – учителя должны в этом разбираться.
