This document outlines 4 sessions of a Philippine Literary History class for Grade 11 students. The objectives are to identify geographic, linguistic and ethnic dimensions of Philippine literature from pre-colonial to contemporary eras through representative texts. Sessions will involve presenting literature from different periods through discussion and activities where students analyze elements, genres and describe pieces. Students will interpret poems, identify messages and emotions in songs, and be evaluated on their analysis. The goal is for students to understand the adaptability of Philippine Literary History.
