Roman Maslennikov presents Radio Gigabit's millimeter-wave backhaul systems using smart lens antennas. Mobile traffic is expected to grow 100x in the next decade, requiring a 20-30x increase in network capacity through small cells connected by 60-80 GHz radios, a $2.8 billion market by 2017. Radio Gigabit's solution uses smart lens antennas for electronic beam steering to easily align links and maintain connections in a cost-efficient system. They have 14 customers, including major vendors, and are negotiating with over 20 telecom companies. Radio Gigabit is preparing a new investment round in Q3 2014 seeking $2.5 million for 33% of the company.
