This document discusses MultiChain, a blockchain technology that can be integrated into Java projects easily within minutes. It describes what MultiChain is, why it is useful for learning and training purposes, and how it can be installed and used through a Java API provided by Worldline R&D in under 5 minutes with little configuration needed. MultiChain is presented as a tool for learning about blockchains through hands-on experimentation with blockchain assets.

▶ 3 kinds of services :
– Monthly Service : Subscription, from a start date to end date, you can use
it when you want, it costs to you even if you don’t use it.
– Service by Ticket : Send a ticket to use the service, the ticket defines the
conditions of the service.
– Timely Service : Always opened for you, you pay for the time you use it.

▶ 2 kinds of user :
– Providers propose Services
– Customers use Services
▶ Providers create service definition in the BlockChain, the service is registered in
a public Catalog, anyone can request for services … anyone can be a provider (if
you have a service to propose)
▶ Customers can find services in the Catalog and can request for a particular
service. Coin representing the service are sent to the Customer.

▶ Usage depends of the kind of service :
– Monthly Service : what is the period with the unit of Asset representing the
service in the user’s wallet ?
– Service by Ticket : how many units of the Asset are used ?
– Timely Service : one unit of Asset is sent at the beginning of the usage and
is sent back, at the end of the usage. How many time between the two
transactions ?
