10. What’s next for the Arctic Region
 Next federal government needs to revamp its policy on the north
 Food and Nutrition programs are not reducing the cost of food. It is time to look at
other options, like greenhouses and/or other means to managed the food supply
 North wants to reduce the time it takes to get project off the ground. The resources
need to be developed in north via sustainable practices. Part of the development
should be leaving the infrastructure around for communities, i.e. water management,
cell towers, power generation, roads, etc.
 Transportation systems including roads need to be review, i.e. Rankin Highway or
investment into Churchill or other northern ports
 Carbon tax should be scrap due to fact many communities rely on diesel power
