G.A.S.P. is an organization founded by 11 students to bring awareness to and reduce the rate of minorities being abused by police officers. Their goal is to help the families of victims. Statistics show people of color are 3 times more likely to be shot by police, yet 99% of cases in 2015 were not convicted. The organization plans to spread their message on social media, gain public trust by being transparent, and find investors to address financial issues in achieving their goals of supporting related non-profits and campaigns.

● Since the average age of people killed by police is 35,50 years are
stolen from people
● Fox says, “racial minorities made up about 37.4% of general
population and 46.6% of armed and unarmed people killed by
police
● Drug arrests statistics; White people = 332 arrested ; Black people=
879 arrested

● A man was shot by a police officer in Minnesota
● Police officer assumed and suspected inaccurately of an
African American man
● Lead to the death of the man named Jeronimo Yanez
● A police officer from Minnesota police department found a
way to cover his actions
● Outcome: he was not guilty or charged and got away with it
● Family of Jeronimo Yanez was angry, filled with sorrow, and
no peace

How to solve it: Be thankful after donations are given and respect your supporters. Show how much
we care for their support.

How To solve it: you can spread the word by telling your friends, going on social media and trying to
gain a large amounts of followers
-Gaining public trust
How to solve it: Let people know who the resources are going towards and use our social media
accounts to bring awareness to the social issue.
-Financial Issues:
How to solve it: Our best option to solve this case as youths is to find one or two investors, ready to
invest in our business and we’re definitely accepting donations from GoFundMe.
