On behalf of the Board of Directors of the John Molson
School of Business (JMSB) International Case Competition
(ICC), I would like to thank you for your generous support
of the John Molson MBA ICC – 36 years running and
among the most prestigious of its kind in the world!
The ICC represents a wonderful opportunity for
participants to develop many competencies that are
essential for business leaders. Due to the generous
participation of industry supporters, the event also
provides an occasion for students, sponsors and
professionals to connect and develop valuable
partnerships and long-lasting relationships. As a past
finalist of the ICC, I can attest first hand on the lasting
impact the week of competition, social events and
networking opportunities leaves on its participants.
The directors of the JMSB ICC are firm believers that an
important part of a business student’s education occurs
beyond the classroom and this competition is a terrific
example of that. The continued support of the corporate
community plays a critical role in making this possible.
Thank you once again for your invaluable contribution to
the development of tomorrow’s business leaders.
Ken Brooks, MBA
Chairman, Board of Directors, JMSB ICC
4. In January 2017, the John Molson School of Business will be
the proud host of the 36th MBA International Case
Competition. During this student-run event, over 150
participants from over 15 countries representing 36
universities will test their skills, intuition and stamina in an
intense weeklong competition. We will welcome more
than 300 seasoned senior executives who donate their
time and expertise to judge the presentations of the MBA
teams, and over 400 volunteers to ensure that everything
is done efficiently.
None of this monumental effort would be possible
without sponsors like you.
Your generosity provides the backbone of the competition
and, without it, the John Molson MBA International Case
Competition would simply not be able to showcase the
talents of MBA students and bring the vibrant Montreal
business community to an international stage.
On behalf of the John Molson MBA program, thank you
for your commitment to the competition.
Merci beaucoup,
Sandra Betton, PhD
MBA Program Director

5. The John Molson International Case Competition is the oldest and largest event of its kind. Since its inception
in 1981, this prestigious event continues to provide a unique and international networking experience for
students, academia, and business executives. For the past 36 years, the organizers, volunteers, judges and
sponsors such as yourselves, have contributed to creating more than just a competition – it is an opportunity to
innovate, connect and compete.
Engaging in a partnership with our competition is a unique opportunity for your business to expand its client
base, gain visibility and place your brand directly in the hands of next generation’s business leaders. Furthermore,
your participation would provide you with an opportunity to interact with local C-level executives, student
competitors and volunteers over the week-long event.
We thank our loyal sponsors for being a valued part of this outstanding event, and extend our warmest
welcome to our new sponsors. The continued success of this competition would not be possible without your
generous support.
