Sales and Commercial Focus
 Ensure effective operation of the cash points to minimise queues and optimise Customer
service
 Supervise Staff in designated department in conjunction with the department manager to
achieve required results
 Ensure all stock price reductions are actioned in line with company policy
Stock management and People Management
 Be aware of Stock and new lines in the department and use available information resources to
ensure stock is displayed in line with sales and that best sellers are promoted.
 Replenish stock to ensure sufficient levels in the department to deliver maximum sales
performance and make sure all sizes are available.
 Assist the management team to plan and carry out regular staff training session new starter
induction.
 Compile daily plan for lunches and breaks.
 Provide full induction and training for retail operatives and others as necessary.
Merchandising
 Ensure that stock is merchandised to company guidelines to maximise sales.
 Corporate with the management team daily on layout changes or moves within your
department.
Customer service
 Demonstrate good customer service at all times and ensure that staff are fully trained.
 Handling the customer complaint and query in a professional and courteous manner, elevating
the issue to management where necessary.
Health and Safety, Security
 Assist the management team in ensuring that all methods of work are carried out according to
Health and safety policy.
 Be fully aware of company policy regarding customer or staff theft and follow appropriate
procedures.
