Editor's Notes

  • #11 The MCP is comprised of hardware and software from best of breed technology providers. Each MCP has a set of border router-switches that feed into switches. The switches are Cisco hardware that use ACE technology to provide a virtual context of VLAN. What is unique about our architecture is that we enable clients to self-configure networking directly on the Cisco switch to optimize performance.Off of the switches, we have servers running VMware that provide Cloud Servers (or virtual machines) that can be customized with CPU, memory and storage.
