This document discusses Bayesian belief network (BBN) modeling and its applications. It provides an overview of BBNs, including that they are useful for participatory systems analysis, integrate different forms of knowledge and data, represent complex systems through causal links between variables, and quantify uncertainties through probabilities. The document then presents an example BBN model focusing on quality of life for women in Ghanaian agriculture. It shows the current situation and then proposed systemic interventions to improve various factors and ultimately increase quality of life.
