Our app is to help people of any age, mainly students
With struggles like bullying and being lonely.
They could use it any day and time and its for the people who
have problems.
Problems:
Bullying
Lonliness
Scared
Cyber Bullied
Mean Parents/friends/teachers
At school nobody seems to talk to me and I feel alone, what
should I do?
You type whats wrong and
the automated message will
reply with advice, and
emapthetic message or a
generally nice message.
My team, SpaceUnicornz is developing an app
to help teenagers, children and adults that are getting bullied or
have a problem that they need help with by suggesting things to
help them and giving them advice on what to do. If someone is
being bullied we will give advice to them just by texting a comment
Our Wireframe for E-Friend using Balsamiq
Girl (12) – I would like an app that helps me with issues but I would
want it to be specific and give good advice that isn’t vague.
Boy (13) – An advice app would be a good idea because if you were in
trouble you could get help.
Woman (adult) – this app would be really good and helpful to children
and teenagers, but you have to remember that some people might be
too embarrassed to get the app or act on your advice. Also they might
be rude when submitting problems.
Woman (Adult) – This app would be very helpful and would help
children that are too shy to speak to adults for help. You will need to
start with a small amount of users though so it isn’t as hard to give
advice.
There aren’t really any apps out there like ours however there
are some advice apps that are similar but don't give help for
more serious problems like bullying they just tell you how to
tie your shoe ect.
Our apps main purpose is to help people that are too shy to
speak to someone about their worries and to give advice to
people who might not know what to do.
We will need to be able to have the app to answer problems
by “texting” the problem they want to talk about and we will
be able to do this on app making websites, however we don’t
know how we are going to make the app have a “texting”
feature with automated messages
We aren’t going to have our app at a cost because if it is an app to help
people then you shouldn’t have to pay to have help. People we asked
thought this too which is why our app is going to be free. However, if
we wanted to earn money by this app we would add advertising so it
wouldn’t be at any cost to the users. However if a school was to buy
the app then they could buy it for about 69p each so that no adverts
would be diplayed.
We will try and advertise but hopefully people will find our
app if they need help and they want help. We would advertise
using posters and perhaps putting up adverts on webpages
or other apps.

  2. What is the background situation you are addressing? Describe the context users are experiencing. Example: Buzzer Buddiez: Who? Students What? Students are studying for exams When? 7am Where? Student dorm Why? Late night cramming, student likely to oversleep
  3. What specific problem do people encounter in that situation? Use the results from your user research Examples: Buzzer Buddiez: your alarm does not work and you are thus late for: school, work, exams, doctor etc Transit: Many parents don’t speak English and their children have to translate the feedback that a teacher provides.
