This document describes the design and simulation methodology for a quad bike. It discusses the design of key components like the frame, suspension, braking system, steering, and body panels. For the frame, 1020 DOM steel was selected as the material after analyzing different material options. Finite element analysis was performed on the frame design to validate that stresses would not exceed material limits. A double wishbone suspension was chosen for the front and a mono-suspension for the rear. Hydraulic disc brakes were selected for improved heat dissipation and performance during repeated hard stops. The steering system uses a handle bar and bell crank mechanism. Galvanized iron sheet was chosen as the material for the body panels due to its availability
