  • 24. How do I borrow books? Self-issue: use your library card and your PIN Self-service Return machine Problems? Ask staff at the enquiry point. Renew online or by phone ….or pay the price! 24

  • 26. How long can I keep this book?  Loan period inside book and on catalogue  Renew using the library catalogue….  ….unless someone else wants it  Reserve using the library catalogue  Pick up reservations from the Self-Service room  Please pick up your reservations or 26 contact us!

How can I save money? Think before you buy books – you can use the ones in the library Avoid fines! Bring your books back on time or renew them online Check your emails from the library If your book has been reserved by someone else, try buying second hand Check what you print! Free printing credit 28

  • 30. How can I save my work?  The most secure method is your file space on the University server: „My documents‟  Save attachments to a known location  Keep backup copies in DIFFERENT locations  Computer / printer failure is no excuse for non- submission so….. Back up! 30
