JOB PURPOSE:
An essential part of the EMEA Field Marketing team, this role is to design, develop and drive lead
generation campaigns for Hitachi Data Systems core business initiatives in Sweden with the objective
to generate qualified sales pipeline for the region. This is an exciting role for a young self motivated
marketer who is looking to join a fast moving, dynamic and international sales driven company. The
candidate will need to be energetic and up for the challenge, this opportunity will provide the
successful applicant with the opportunity to further develop their marketing capabilities using all
elements of the marketing mix.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Execute lead generation campaigns across all of Hitachi Data Systems major business initiatives
such as File Services, Data Protection, Modular Solutions and Storage Economics.
• Increase qualified sales pipeline through lead generation for both the direct and indirect sales
organisations.
• Manage the local PR agency to ensure effective media campaigns are in place to increase share
of voice and brand awareness across a variety of relevant topics.
• Work closely the Sweden sales teams to ensure sales and marketing alignment.
• Foster strong relationships with key channel partners to drive lead generation activities.
• Build an understanding of the local market to determine the marketing plan to meet local business
objectives.
• Maintain program effectiveness by measuring ROI on all investments (CDF, SDF, Global, Local,
MDF) documenting and conducting post analysis/evaluation on all campaigns using the
ROI/Metrics tool as standard.
• Foster strong working relationships with key country personnel such as local country management
channel sales teams and other key local stakeholders across Sweden.
• Manage the marketing budget at the country level making sure investments are in line with

2. expected growth areas and are spent according to plan.
• Foster good relationships with peers in the EMEA Marketing Team. Share ideas and take
responsibility for driving marketing success across Sweden and the rest of Northern Europe
region.
• Support major product announcements with marketing plans and activities to drive awareness and
lead generation across Sweden, making sure that all Tier 1 and Tier 2 launches are supported
effectively.
• Work with the local sales teams and channel partners to identify and produce customer success
stories.

PRIMARY SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS
• Academic background (University) in Marketing or business related degree.
• Foreign language skills are beneficial (Swedish mother tongue, and a good understanding of
any of the following: English, other Nordic languages.

functional groups - both written and spoken English
