La unidad en el sistema internacional (SI) de fuerza es el newton, el cual se define
como la fuerza que, cuando actúan sobre una masa de 1kg, produce una aceleración de

s2. A partir de esta definición y de la segunda ley de newton, vemos que el newton se
puede expresar en términos de las unidades fundamentales de masa, longitud y tiempo.
La unidad de fuerza en el sistema cegesimal CGS es la dina y se define como la fuerza

(Newton y dinas) Solución Nótese que los datos aparecen en un mismo sistema de unidades (M.K.S.) Sistema Internacional (SI) Sustituyendo valores tenemos:
