Graphic Design Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
– You can edit photos to your liking, if you know
how, photoshop gives you more options to create.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
– It can be hard to use if you don’t know your way
around the software.
– It might not always go to plan from your head to
paper things change along the way.
Graphic Design Production
Both of the posters are
male they both have a
can or bottle of coke in
their hands, the logo is
in view a well In the
poster.
The differences are that
one is at day and the
other is a night giving
both a different feeling.
The way I have spoken
to my age range Is
because I have used
more vibrant colours
and made the poster
in more of an urban
setting
The
audience or
this poster
is for adults
around 30-
50s
This poster has a
more family feel
since its brighter and
it has to adults
assumed to be a
family
Graphic Design Production
Make the
background
lighter, as in
daytime
Make the
coke cans
bigger to
show that it
is a coke
advert not
just a bloke
in a street
gully
The purple
shadow effect
on the bloke
makes you
believe that the
light is shining
onto him from
the side door.
The way I made
this effect was
to draw with the
paint tool
around the
body, then CTRL
SHIFT click onto
the layer this
being the man,
then SHIFT CTRL
+ I and then
deleting with
that is stays only
on the body,
change the layer
type to colour
and it will look
like a glow from
a light.
The tag line could
have been more
prominent or
brighter for the
viewer.
I think that the
background and the
style of the poster may
have been a bit to dark
for my age range, maybe
if I lightened it up and
changed the face of the
character it would have
suited the age range
slightly better
The coke values I
endorsed was
sharing, since in
the poster you can
see hand
stretching out to
pass a coke can it
to the bloke in the
gully.
Radio Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
– Quite simple to use and change it if it doent fit
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
– Takes a lot of time to find the sound effects and
record the audio. Takes a lot of time to make
something that is less than 30 seconds.
Radio Production
• They both have two narrators talking
• They both promote coke although the other
advert knows it is an advert ours doesn’t
• The other advert doesn’t have music changing
at the end.

Fnw
Radio Production
• One change I would make would be to record
the speech audio in a smaller area and
without as much ambient noise
• Another would be to make it more clear that it
is a coke advert and make it snappier.
• Our advert is quick and it gets to the point, it
also doesn’t mislead the consumer
Video Game Experiments
Video Game Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
– You get to test and find out how to make the
character also how it would eventually end up
looking like
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
– Its not the final product so its not going to
represent the end product
Video Game Production
Both advergames just
pixel art, and they are
both a coke advergame.
This advergame
includes other
brands of soft
drinks unlike the
my advegame
This advergame
is more like
Tetris, and my
advergame is
more of a
deriving game
with the aspect
of leveling up
Video Game Production
What I would change would
be to slow the movement
down and make it a lot more
smoother and not as clunky.
If I were to do
this project
again I would
make it a top
down or side
on maze
game where
you have to
reach the
coke in the
middle or
end.
With the model
player I could
have smoothed
him out a bit
more or just in
general made
him better from
the pencil tool
available, since
his detail faded
when he was
shrunk.
Comparison
• Which product do you believe advertises the
product the best? Why?
• I believe that the poster would be the most
efficient to draw the most customers plus it could
be placed anywhere unlike with the radio and the
advergame.
• Which of your products is the most professional?
Why?
• The most professional advert I think would be th
advert because it links well with other coke
adverts made in the past.
