The researcher conducted product research, questionnaires, and interviews to understand their target audience. Product research provided insights into editing techniques but was limited by a small sample. Questionnaires effectively identified audience demographics and preferences. Interviews overlapped with questionnaires but uncovered some favorite game characters. Overall, the research gave a balanced understanding of what to include and appeal to the target male, teenage audience through a dramatic and violent video game montage.

Fallout 4 tribute ad victoriam
This montage is more based on the story of
the game, the music used is called sharks
don’t sleep, what's different this song is
that there's no dialog so that the
characters in the game can be hired. The
music is also very dramatic which can make
the audience feel mixed emotions, non of
them bad.

Skyrim My demon's
This product is based on one game. Its
mainly just a montage killings within
the game. There's no story to it, and
there has been no added effects. The
type of music used in the product is
dramatic, which is appropriate for the
clips as having pop music behind people
being killed would look out of place.
5. Existing Product
A kind of magic was made in the 80s
by a band called queen, it is similar
to my product because it’s a video
with music backing it up, accept
with this product the main focus is
with the music not the clips, so its
more like the clips back up the
music.

– Product Research
• This was helpful as it lets me see what type of effects other editor do, it also lets me see

make it look like there one whole clip. The research was quite difficult to do, as there are
not many video montages out there.
– Questionnaires
