“Examples include fake news such as the
Government of India to have ordered demoli-
tion of religious structures; GoI to have
banned celebration of religious festivals,
declaration of religious war in India, etc.
Such content was found to have potential to
create communal disharmony and disturb
public order in the country,” IT ministry said.
Most of the channels that have been blocked
recently by the GoI were monetized. That
means ads were being shown on the videos
and the creators were earning money from it.
There is certain milestones that a channel has
to complete before getting approval for mon-

milestones, creator can apply for monetization.

Gorhe and state cabi-
net member Gu-
labrao Patil. The in-

which the former re-
buked the latter, say-

Member of Legisla-

To this request, Gorhe

Then Gulabrao Patil

The intervention by

tion is related to Kes-

Gorhe told Patil.
Despite the Chair’s
instruction to Patil to
take his seat, chaos
continuedintheHouse.
Later, Gorhe said,
“Gulabrao Patil ji, I
have,fromtimetotime,
warned you, requested
you. Take your seat im-
mediately
. What kind
of behaviour is this in
the House?”
Patil, a rebel Shiv
Sena MLA who is part
of Chief Minister
Eknath Shinde’s fac-
tion, was also a minis-
ter in the previous Ud-
dhav Thackeray gov-
ernment.
Seeking to reply
, Pa-
til said, “I am a minis-
ter” and added he
should be given a
chance to speak.
Gorhe lost her cool
and shot back, “What
if you are a minister.
You are a minister at
your home. Take your
seat.”
This, however, did
not go down well with
Dhas, who raised the
issue in the House.
“I do not want to
guide you (Gorhe). I
don’t have anything to
say when you warned
Gulabrao Patil. But
then Patil said that he
should be given a
chance to speak. At
thattime,youinadvert-
ently said ‘you are a

I request you to ex-
punge those remarks,”
Dhas told the deputy
chairperson.

.
Raut is lodged at the

The lawyer said
the matter has been

ment over the alleged
rape of a 35-year-old
woman in Bhandara
district.
The House was ad-

issue as the members
of the Congress, Na-

The woman was go-

allegedly raped again
by two other men at

She spent the night in
the police station, but
she was neither taken
to any shelter home nor
was her family in-

the police station. Had
the police taken appro-
priate action, she would
not have faced such bru-

Mumbai: The Bom-
bay High Court ex-
pressed concern on
Wednesday about an
incident in Palghar
district in which a
tribal woman lost her
twins after delivery
because she could not
reach a health center
in time due to a lack
of a proper road.
A division bench,
comprising of Chief
Justice Dipankar Datta
and Justice MS Karnik
was hearing a slew of
public interest litiga-
tions (PILs) filed in 2006
highlighting the high
number of deaths of
children, pregnant
women, and lactating
mothers due to malnu-
trition in the Melghat
region of east Maha-
rashtra.
On Monday
, a 26-year-
old tribal woman from
Mokhada in Palghar
district, 155km from
Mumbai, had to be car-
ried in a makeshift
stretcher to a medical
centre. The woman,
who was seven months
pregnant, went into la-
bour prematurely. She
was later brought to the
Khodala PHC (public
health centre) in an am-
bulance from the main
road. She gave birth to
twins.
“We read in newspa-
pers today about the
Palghar incident. The
woman was taken to the
hospital in a makeshift
‘Palki’ (stretcher) and
by the time she reached
the hospital the babies
were dead,” Datta said.
“This is in Palghar...
We have been hearing
this matter since the
year 2006 and now we
are in 2022. It has been
16 years... this court has
been passing directions
from time to time,” he
added.
On Wednesday, the
bench noted that it was
concerned about the
fact that the number of
deaths of children,
pregnant women and
cases of stillbirths is
not decreasing.
One of the petition-
ers, Bandya Sane, told
the high court that in
tribal regions, basic
medical facilities are
still not available. He
added that doctors who
are appointed by the
government to serve in
these areas do not re-
port to duty
.
Government pleader
PP Kakade told the high
court that if doctors do
not report to the areas
assigned to them then a
notice would be issued
to them. And if they fail
to respond, the doctors
will be removed from
service.
The bench posted the
matter for further hear-
ing on September 12.

one wide near the rear

front. The interiors of
the new double-decker
buses are white with
green-hued seats with

amenities include laptop

charging points and a
passenger address (PA)
system. However, head
space for those on the
window seats may be
on the lower side due to
the AC duct, which may
cause some problems
for tall passengers on
the stairway behind the
driver as well.

RUE LOSS OF UPPER DECK ‘BREEZE’
Mumbai (PTI): The
breeze on the face of
passengers on the up-

famed double-decker
buses will be a thing
of the past as the
electric ones set to
be introduced by the
Brihanmumbai Electric

air-conditioned, with a
giant windscreen play-
ing spoilsport. However,
transport enthusiasts
who have been us-
ing the conventional
double-decker for years
now, agreed that the
breeze apart, views will
be better with bigger
windows. “As a child I
used to love sitting on
the front row seats. The
view, the breeze and
the branches of trees
brushing past used to
give me a rush. It will
be missed in the new
buses,” said architect
Vivek Pai. Meanwhile,
the dual colour tone of
the new electric double-
decker buses are also
coming in for some
criticism from enthusi-
asts, who believe black
dominates in compari-
son to red that stood
out in the Undertak-
ing’s fleet. “The double
decker has too much
black. The portion be-
tween two decks should
be red,” tweeted Akshay
Marathe, a public trans-
port enthusiast.

ihar’s Mahagath-

on a wrong note. Kar-

did not as he was being inducted
in Nitish Kumar’s government.
Now an arrest warrant has been

R
Employee Management - Can Destroy
Your Company or Take It To Next Level
n organization is a set of peo-
ple that work for specific ob-
jectives, it is the employee
that run it. The future of any
organization depends on the
type of people who work
there. Proper and well
planned men’s groups for
work is called Talent Manage-
ment. The fate of the organi-
zation depends on the skill set
of the people working in the
organization. If a person
with a correct skill set takes
the organization in the right
direction, then the organiza-
tion and employees are opti-
mally developed. Sometimes
it happens that the turnover
of the company increases,
but the system and talent
management practice in the
company is negligible and
there is a time when the com-
pany is likely to fall from its
employees’ salaries and other
expenses. The companies
who can organize their hu-
man resource in proper way
have a strong foundation.
Recently, the world’s lead-
ing company E Y surveyed
on the company’s Talent
Management and how they
can grow by organizing it in
correct way. In this survey,
the world’s top 600 officials
took part. These officials
came out with beautiful
things in the discussion. The
organization which will give
more freedom to the employ-
ees to work will grow more
than others. The officials fur-
ther stated that every organi-
zation should develop meth-
od or systems so that each
employee can work with
their own responsibility
. Eve-
ry employee must know ex-
actly what type of work they
are doing and how they want
to contribute to the company
at the end of the year. Also
the organization which does
not give freedom to its em-
ployees for decision making
does not grow very quickly
.
The second thing in this
survey that came out was
that a very few companies
are involved in talent man-
agement related programs or
investments and due to this
reason the company’s growth
in manufacturing is less. As
a result, there are lot of peo-
ple in the organization but
the lack of proper planning
does not benefit the organiza-
tion very much. Only 10% of
the companies have a scheme
to give opportunities to its
present employees rather
than appointing new people.
Doing this gives new oppor-
tunities to the employees
working from a long time
who have contributed more
in the development of the or-
ganization.
More than 54% of the offi-
cials said in this survey that
just 43% of companies have a
strong pipeline to create fu-
ture leadership talent and
38% of the companies have
the eligibility metrics for se-
lecting their organization’s
leadership candidates. Few
companies focus on skill ori-
ented leaders. Only 26% of
companies have met the crite-
ria to select effective leaders
for their organization. Due to
these stats we now come to
know that how much a com-
pany is serious in talent man-
agement and acquisition.
Studying in depth knowl-
edge of talent management,
we get an indication that em-
ployees can give a very im-
portant contribution in the
growth of a company
. Taking
from the workforce planning,
making right choice in em-
ployees and till the employee
come on board the company
has to properly induct them
about the organization, their
role-based responsibility has
to be decided and efforts need
to be made continuously to
make them contribute to the
company. If this whole sys-
tem is not done with a good
work plan then a person will
only be recruited in the com-
pany but will not make any
special contribution. It the
company wants to develop
than the company has to un-
derstand the flow and follow
it accordingly
.

IMPORTANCE OF TALENT MANAGEMENT

z If the employees consider
themselves as partners to the
company, and that kind of
environment is developed than
the company is certainly going
to develop, grow and make
more profits. The company’s
management has to make
certain efforts to create such
an environment.

z Every employee working in
the company has to contribute
in the development of their
organization. You and
your company will grow in
partnership if you contribute
well in the company’s growth.

z Organizations must have
various programs related to
Talent Management. These
programs should be more
dependent on employee’s
contribution to the organization

z Changing the mental attitude
of employees has become very
important in today’s environment.
Regular training programs
should be organized periodically

‘Can’t make everyone min every time’
Patna (ANI): Bihar CM
Nitish Kumar reacted
angrily after a senior
legislator from his par-
ty JDU, Bima Bharti,
said she’s upset at not
being made a minister
while her party col-
league, Leshi Singh, is
in the cabinet again.
“I cannot make every-
one a minister every
time,” Kumar said, un-
derlining that Bima
Bharti had also been
minister twice. “This
kind of behaviour isn’t
done. The party will
speak with her calmly.
If she understands,
fine. Or else, if she has
thought of going here
or there, she may con-
sider that.”
Bharti had threat-
ened to resign if Singh
remains a minister.
“I’m upset only with
Leshi Singh that she’s
always chosen. What
does the CM see in her?
She is repeatedly in-
volved in incidents in
her area; brings disre-
pute to the party. Why
am I not heard? Is it be-
cause I am from a back-
ward caste?” she said.
“If Leshi Singh is not
removed, I will resign
from the party
. If my al-
legation against her is
wrong, then I will re-
sign as an MLA,” Bhar-
ti further said.
But Nitish Kumar
was having none of it.
“She (Leshi Singh) was
minister in 2013, 2014,
2019 too. There was
nothing like this (alle-
gation) against her
then. This is all mean-
ingless,” he told report-
ers during an interac-
tion in Patna.

Mumbai: Shiv Sena’s
rebel MLA Sanjay
Shirsat, who went with
Eknath Shinde, recetly
tweeted that Uddhav
Thackeray is the family
head i.e. the head of the
Shiv Sena family
. He de-
leted the tweet 10 mins
later but said he was up-
set with cabinet expan-
sion. Obviously Shirsat
is not the only leader
who is miffed. Due to
the 40 days taken for the
formation of the cabi-
net and no allocation of
portfolios even after five
days, it is evident that
many MLAs of the
Shinde faction are an-
gry
. It is being told that
Uddhav Thackeray is in
touch with the rebel
MLAs through his close
leaders.
It is also being said
that after Sanjay Raut’s
removal, the activity of
other leaders has in-
creased rebel MLAs
are also very comforta-
ble in talking to Uddhav.
Earlier, all the conver-
sations were done
through Raut. Many
MLAs are now coming
out saying his always
wanted to dominate.
The style of Milind
Narvekar, who was Ud-
dhav’s advisor, is easy
compared to him. He
has spoken to many
MLAs. There are com-
plaints from MLAs but
no one is against Ud-
dhav Thackeray
. Every-
one is considering pos-
sibility of return.
At present, a total of
20 ministers have been
made in Maharashtra,
including CM, out of
which 10 MLAs are of
rebel faction, including
Shinde. Four ministeri-
al posts will be available
in next expansion. After
that the rebellion in
Shinde faction will in-
crease as there are 30
contenders for 4 posts.
They feel that as an
MLA, they were placed
better even within Shiv
Sena, then what is the
point of revolting and
going to a different fac-
tion. Shiv Sena can get
the benefit of this situa-
tion. Everyone is also
feeling that BJP can con-
duct elections before
time, for which most of
the MLAs are not ready
.

BJP’s support to crimi-

PM Narendra Modi if
he was ashamed of
“such politics”.
He cited the examples
of rape cases in Unnao
and Hathras in Uttar
Pradesh, Kathua in
Jammu and Kashmir
and now Gujarat where
the government this
week released those
convicted of rape and
murder in the 2002
Bilkis Bano case. “Un-
nao - worked to save

ly in favour of rapists.
Hathras - the govern-
ment in favour of rap-
ists. Gujarat - the re-
lease and honour of
rapists. The support to
criminals displays the
petty mindset of the
BJP towards women,”
Gandhi said in a tweet
in Hindi. “Are you not

tics, Prime Minister ji,”
he asked.
“There is an interest-
ing side story to the

New Delhi: Bilkis Bano’s

government move and
said after this, every
rape and murder convict
would apply for remis-
sion. She said the deci-
sion to release comes
across as a 'non-appli-
cation of mind on the
grossness of the crime'.
I think every rape and
murder convict will apply
for remission after 14
years. If a remission can
be granted in this case,
then why won't every

Wednesday pulled up
the government for
failing to provide of-
ficial residential ac-
commodations to the

A division bench of
Justices KR Shriram

by the ‘Consumer

ciation’ asking the state
government to provide
residential accommo-
dations for the commis-

The court on Wednes-

ware of appointment of
the president of the
State Consumer Com-

two judicial members
whose headquarters
have been relocated to
Mumbai.
The bench directed
the Principal Secretary

ter for further hearing
on August 19. The court
directed the Maharash-
tra government’s Advo-

before it on that day
.
The court pointed out
that there have been
many such complaints
from judicial members
and said the state gov-
ernment was not pay-
ing attention to issues
faced by the judiciary
.
The petitioner’s law-
yer, Uday Warunjikar,
on Wednesday told the
court that in May 2022,
Justice SP Tavade, a re-
tired HC judge, was ap-
pointed president of the
commission but till
date he has not been
provided with an offi-
cial accommodation.
Warunjikar said the
judicial members of the
commission, who travel
to Mumbai from Nag-

every fortnight, as their
headquarters have been
changed, too, are not
provided with any ac-

LOP AJIT PAWAR TARGETS NEW
SENA MINISTERS IN THE HOUSE
Takes pot shots at Health Minister Tanaji Sawant and Agriculture Minister Abdul Sattar
First India Bureau
Mumbai: Leader of
Opposition in the
Maharashtra Legis-
lative Assembly, Ajit
Pawar, on Thursday
stumped rebel Shiv
Sena MLAs and new-
ly anointed minis-
ters with a flurry of
questions, and barbs
in his characteristic
sarcastic style on
the second day of
the Monsoon Session
of state legislature.
His first target was
state Health Minister
Tanaji Sawant whom
he grilled during the
Question Hour.
Sawant-- who was
sworn in just last
week-- fumbled when
some Opposition
MLAs grilled him on
the prevalence of ele-
phantiasis in tribal-
dominated district of
Palghar. They sought
to know whether the
disease is also affect-
ing other districts in
the state, and what
sort of action plan has
the state prepared to
tackle it.
A health survey in
October 2021 had indi-
cated that 80 children
were afflicted by ele-
phantiasis in Palghar
district. Of these,
around 29 children
were affected by the
disease in Dahanu,
Vikramgad and Tala-
sari tehsils of the dis-
trict.
“The doctors in Pal-
ghar are working on a
war-footing, and dis-
tribution of medicines
is also happening on a
wide scale,” said
Sawant.
Pawar further in-
quired about the size
of health teams deput-
ed to the district, va-
cant posts, and usage
of allocated funds by
district authorities. In
response, Sawant ad-
mitted that he did not
have any specific in-
formation but that he
would procure rele-
vant data and table it
in the House. Senior
NCP leaders Pawar
and Dilip Walse-Patil
then raised objections
that the minister
should either give in-
formation on their
queries immediately
or keep the question
pending, to be dis-
cussed on Monday.
Speaker Rahul Nar-
wekar then kept the
question in abeyance
and directed Sawant to
give his reply in detail
on Monday.
Next on Pawar’s ra-
dar was state Agricul-
ture Minister Abdul
Sattar, to whom he
posed questions on
compensation for
farmers struggling
due to excess rainfall.
The leader of opposi-
tion also raised the is-
sue of rising farmer
suicides, and claimed
that in 45 days since
Eknath Shinde took
oath as the new chief
minister, Maharash-
tra had witnessed 137
farmer suicides at an
average of three sui-
cides daily. He also re-
iterated his demands
of Rs50,000 per hec-
tare compensation for
flood affected farmers
and Rs1.5 lakh per hec-
tare for horticultur-
ists who faced crop
losses.
Taking a dig at Sat-
tar, Pawar addressed
him in the treasury
benches and said, “Ab-
dul Sattar, I am sur-
prised that you have
got the agriculture
ministry. Dada Bhuse
was looking at farmer’
issues very minutely,
and I don’t know if he
faced injustice (by not
getting the same port-
folio). I thought Bhuse
was really doing a good
job. Now, I will say good
for what is good.”

MITALI DUSAD
Cityfirst@firstindia.co.in
anmashtami and food have a
unique relationship and that
can be seen every year on
this auspicious day that
marks the birth of Lord
Krishna. On this day, there
are a few signature prepara-
tions that are offered to Lord Krish-
na, keeping his love for milk and milk
products in mind. Some devotees also
observe a day-long fast and prepare
bhog as an offering to the deity
. There
are just a few ingredients that can be
consumed during Janmashtami fast-
ing. For instance, dry fruits,
sabudana, Amarnath, makhana,
buckwheat and a few more.
In the Hindu Holy Book, Bhagavad
Gita says that whenever evil predom-
inates and there’s a decline in reli-
gion, God himself will reincarnate to
kill the evil and restore humanity
and goodness.
Janmashtami is an example of
this saying. During the rule of King
Kansa, evil practices were at their
extremes. Hence, Vishu (Hindu God)
reincarnated as Lord Krishna to de-
stroy the evil from the world and
spread the message of love, peace,
and harmony
.
KUTTU KI PURI
Kuttu puri is super crispy, fluffy, and
full of flavours. You can also stuff
them with a potato mixture for a
more filling meal. To make this, all
you need is to prepare the
dough by using buckwheat
and sendha namak.

J
PANJIRI
Panjiri is considered the most im-
portant Prasad of this festival.
Made with coriander seed pow-
der, powdered sugar, desi ghee,
cashew nuts, almonds, pistachi-
os, mishri, and raisins, this
healthy offering is considered
good for the gut and is popular in
Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Punjab
regions of the country.
MAAKHAN MISRI
Lord Krishna is very very fond
of white butter or ‘maakhan’.
There are innumerable stories
of little Krishna stealing butter
from the pots of Gopis. Hence,
heisfondlyknownas‘Maakhan
Chor’. So the best way to cele-
brate this festival is to devour a
lovely sweet made out of his
favourite, maakhan. So, this
Janmashtami, do gorge on
Maakhan Misri. It’s very easy
to prepare. All you have to do is
mix sugar with freshly churned
butter. You can also add some
buts to the creamy mixture. It’s
truly yum!
ALOO-PANEER KOFTA
Next up we bring you a quick
and easy aloo-paneer kofta
recipe that can also be a per-
fect addition to both your vrat
and Prasad menu. All you
need to do is prepare a simple
dough with potato, paneer,
flour and some spices and fry
them into crispy kofta balls.
SABUDANA KHICHDI
In this khichdi recipe, soaked sabudana is
stir-fried with peanuts, aloo, jeera and rock
salt, making it soothing to the core. Always
remember, the only tip to cook perfect
sabudana khichdi is to make sure your
sabudana pearls are soaked properly.

The in- teraction during which the former re- buked the latter, say- ing you are a minis- ter at your home. Member of Legisla- tive Council (MLC) Suresh Dhas of the ruling ally Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) later requested the deputy chairperson to expunge her remarks from Council records. To this request, Gorhe said that she will ex- amine them. Theverbalexchange occurred when School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar was responding to a ques- tion in the Upper House. First India Bureau Mumbai: The Bom- bay High Court ex- pressed concern on Wednesday about an incident in Palghar district in which a tribal woman lost her twins after delivery because she could not reach a health center in time due to a lack of a proper road. A division bench, comprising of Chief Justice Dipankar Datta and Justice MS Karnik was hearing a slew of public interest litiga- tions (PILs) filed in 2006 highlighting the high number of deaths of children, pregnant women, and lactating mothers due to malnu- trition in the Melghat region of east Maha- rashtra. On Monday , a 26-year- old tribal woman from Mokhada in Palghar district, 155km from Mumbai, had to be car- ried in a makeshift stretcher to a medical centre. The woman, who was seven months pregnant, went into la- bour prematurely. She was later brought to the Khodala PHC (public health centre) in an am- bulance from the main road. She gave birth to twins. “We read in newspa- pers today about the Palghar incident. The woman was taken to the hospital in a makeshift ‘Palki’ (stretcher) and by the time she reached the hospital the babies were dead,” Datta said. “This is in Palghar... We have been hearing this matter since the year 2006 and now we are in 2022. It has been 16 years... this court has been passing directions from time to time,” he added. On Wednesday, the bench noted that it was concerned about the fact that the number of deaths of children, pregnant women and cases of stillbirths is not decreasing. One of the petition- ers, Bandya Sane, told the high court that in tribal regions, basic medical facilities are still not available. He added that doctors who are appointed by the government to serve in these areas do not re- port to duty . Government pleader PP Kakade told the high court that if doctors do not report to the areas assigned to them then a notice would be issued to them. And if they fail to respond, the doctors will be removed from service. The bench posted the matter for further hear- ing on September 12. However, head space for those on the window seats may be on the lower side due to the AC duct, which may cause some problems for tall passengers on the stairway behind the driver as well. NEW FEATURES DOUBLE-DECKER ENTHUSIASTS RUE LOSS OF UPPER DECK ‘BREEZE’ Mumbai (PTI): The breeze on the face of passengers on the up- per deck of Mumbai’s famed double-decker buses will be a thing of the past as the electric ones set to be introduced by the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport Undertaking (BEST) are air-conditioned, with a giant windscreen play- ing spoilsport. However, transport enthusiasts who have been us- ing the conventional double-decker for years now, agreed that the breeze apart, views will be better with bigger windows. “As a child I used to love sitting on the front row seats. The view, the breeze and the branches of trees brushing past used to give me a rush. It will be missed in the new buses,” said architect Vivek Pai. Meanwhile, the dual colour tone of the new electric double- decker buses are also coming in for some criticism from enthusi- asts, who believe black dominates in compari- son to red that stood out in the Undertak- ing’s fleet. “The double decker has too much black. The portion be- tween two decks should be red,” tweeted Akshay Marathe, a public trans- port enthusiast. Kar- tikeya Singh, who is the new law minister, was supposed to ap- pear in a court on August 16 but did not as he was being inducted in Nitish Kumar’s government. Now an arrest warrant has been issued against him in a kidnap- ping case. Singh’s name figured in the kidnapping of a builder in 2014. In what can be construed as a reprieve for the law minis- ter is a note by the Patna High Court that said the victim had not named Singh in his state- ment before a magistrate. All eyes will not only be on this case but also on the CBI which wants an expeditious trial in the IRCTC hotels scam case which has Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav as an accused. Arguments on framing of charges are yet to commence. The CBI has ap- proached the Delhi High Court to allow the framing of charges to begin. B ohingya refugees have become a cause of embar- rassment for the Central govern- ment after a minister and a ministry openly disagreed on their settlement in Delhi. A minister of the stature of Hardeep Puri, who holds the Housing and Urban Affairs portfolio, is not known for is- suing flippant statements. A former diplomat, he must be used to weighing every word before uttering it. What prompted him to announce that Rohingya refugees in Delhi would be shifted to EWS flats in West Delhi would be known only to him. As a reaffirmation he also tweeted that India has always welcomed those seeking “ref- uge”, even though that is not wholly true. Puri assured the Rohingya refugees that they “will be provided basic ameni- ties, UNHCR IDs” and round the clock police protection. The Union minister’s welcom- ing assurances were rejected by the Union Home ministry which stated a few hours later denying any move to resettle the “illegal refugees”. The AAP hit back saying that the BJP government was “secretly trying to give permanent residence to the Rohingyas in Delhi” and that the Delhi government won’t allow this “conspiracy” to succeed R Employee Management - Can Destroy Your Company or Take It To Next Level n organization is a set of peo- ple that work for specific ob- jectives, it is the employee that run it. The future of any organization depends on the type of people who work there. Proper and well planned men’s groups for work is called Talent Manage- ment. The fate of the organi- zation depends on the skill set of the people working in the organization. If a person with a correct skill set takes the organization in the right direction, then the organiza- tion and employees are opti- mally developed. Sometimes it happens that the turnover of the company increases, but the system and talent management practice in the company is negligible and there is a time when the com- pany is likely to fall from its employees’ salaries and other expenses. The companies who can organize their hu- man resource in proper way have a strong foundation. Recently, the world’s lead- ing company E Y surveyed on the company’s Talent Management and how they can grow by organizing it in correct way. In this survey, the world’s top 600 officials took part. These officials came out with beautiful things in the discussion. The organization which will give more freedom to the employ- ees to work will grow more than others. The officials fur- ther stated that every organi- zation should develop meth- od or systems so that each employee can work with their own responsibility . Eve- ry employee must know ex- actly what type of work they are doing and how they want to contribute to the company at the end of the year. Also the organization which does not give freedom to its em- ployees for decision making does not grow very quickly . The second thing in this survey that came out was that a very few companies are involved in talent man- agement related programs or investments and due to this reason the company’s growth in manufacturing is less. As a result, there are lot of peo- ple in the organization but the lack of proper planning does not benefit the organiza- tion very much. Only 10% of the companies have a scheme to give opportunities to its present employees rather than appointing new people. Doing this gives new oppor- tunities to the employees working from a long time who have contributed more in the development of the or- ganization. More than 54% of the offi- cials said in this survey that just 43% of companies have a strong pipeline to create fu- ture leadership talent and 38% of the companies have the eligibility metrics for se- lecting their organization’s leadership candidates. Few companies focus on skill ori- ented leaders. Only 26% of companies have met the crite- ria to select effective leaders for their organization. Due to these stats we now come to know that how much a com- pany is serious in talent man- agement and acquisition. Studying in depth knowl- edge of talent management, we get an indication that em- ployees can give a very im- portant contribution in the growth of a company . Taking from the workforce planning, making right choice in em- ployees and till the employee come on board the company has to properly induct them about the organization, their role-based responsibility has to be decided and efforts need to be made continuously to make them contribute to the company. If this whole sys- tem is not done with a good work plan then a person will only be recruited in the com- pany but will not make any special contribution. It the company wants to develop than the company has to un- derstand the flow and follow it accordingly . THE VIEWS EXPRESSED BY THE AUTHOR ARE PERSONAL A Taking from the workforce planning, making right choice in employees and till the employee come on board the company has to properly induct them about the organization, their role-based responsibility has to be decided and efforts need to be made continuously to make them contribute to the company. The company’s management has to make certain efforts to create such an environment. z Every employee working in the company has to contribute in the development of their organization. You and your company will grow in partnership if you contribute well in the company’s growth. z Organizations must have various programs related to Talent Management. These programs should be more dependent on employee’s contribution to the organization z Changing the mental attitude of employees has become very important in today’s environment. Regular training programs should be organized periodically z Leaders working in org has great responsibilities, has to make sure that he and his team give maximum contribution to organization. Talent Management is an important factor playing in the organization’s growth. He de- leted the tweet 10 mins later but said he was up- set with cabinet expan- sion. Obviously Shirsat is not the only leader who is miffed. Due to the 40 days taken for the formation of the cabi- net and no allocation of portfolios even after five days, it is evident that many MLAs of the Shinde faction are an- gry . It is being told that Uddhav Thackeray is in touch with the rebel MLAs through his close leaders. It is also being said that after Sanjay Raut’s removal, the activity of other leaders has in- creased rebel MLAs are also very comforta- ble in talking to Uddhav. Earlier, all the conver- sations were done through Raut. Many MLAs are now coming out saying his always wanted to dominate. The style of Milind Narvekar, who was Ud- dhav’s advisor, is easy compared to him. He has spoken to many MLAs. There are com- plaints from MLAs but no one is against Ud- dhav Thackeray . Every- one is considering pos- sibility of return. At present, a total of 20 ministers have been made in Maharashtra, including CM, out of which 10 MLAs are of rebel faction, including Shinde. Four ministeri- al posts will be available in next expansion. After that the rebellion in Shinde faction will in- crease as there are 30 contenders for 4 posts. They feel that as an MLA, they were placed better even within Shiv Sena, then what is the point of revolting and going to a different fac- tion. Shiv Sena can get the benefit of this situa- tion. Everyone is also feeling that BJP can con- duct elections before time, for which most of the MLAs are not ready . Is Uddhav in touch with rebel MLAs? LOP AJIT PAWAR TARGETS NEW SENA MINISTERS IN THE HOUSE Takes pot shots at Health Minister Tanaji Sawant and Agriculture Minister Abdul Sattar First India Bureau Mumbai: Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Legis- lative Assembly, Ajit Pawar, on Thursday stumped rebel Shiv Sena MLAs and new- ly anointed minis- ters with a flurry of questions, and barbs in his characteristic sarcastic style on the second day of the Monsoon Session of state legislature. His first target was state Health Minister Tanaji Sawant whom he grilled during the Question Hour. Sawant-- who was sworn in just last week-- fumbled when some Opposition MLAs grilled him on the prevalence of ele- phantiasis in tribal- dominated district of Palghar. They sought to know whether the disease is also affect- ing other districts in the state, and what sort of action plan has the state prepared to tackle it. A health survey in October 2021 had indi- cated that 80 children were afflicted by ele- phantiasis in Palghar district. Of these, around 29 children were affected by the disease in Dahanu, Vikramgad and Tala- sari tehsils of the dis- trict. “The doctors in Pal- ghar are working on a war-footing, and dis- tribution of medicines is also happening on a wide scale,” said Sawant. Pawar further in- quired about the size of health teams deput- ed to the district, va- cant posts, and usage of allocated funds by district authorities. In response, Sawant ad- mitted that he did not have any specific in- formation but that he would procure rele- vant data and table it in the House. Senior NCP leaders Pawar and Dilip Walse-Patil then raised objections that the minister should either give in- formation on their queries immediately or keep the question pending, to be dis- cussed on Monday. Speaker Rahul Nar- wekar then kept the question in abeyance and directed Sawant to give his reply in detail on Monday. Next on Pawar’s ra- dar was state Agricul- ture Minister Abdul Sattar, to whom he posed questions on compensation for farmers struggling due to excess rainfall. The leader of opposi- tion also raised the is- sue of rising farmer suicides, and claimed that in 45 days since Eknath Shinde took oath as the new chief minister, Maharash- tra had witnessed 137 farmer suicides at an average of three sui- cides daily. He also re- iterated his demands of Rs50,000 per hec- tare compensation for flood affected farmers and Rs1.5 lakh per hec- tare for horticultur- ists who faced crop losses. Taking a dig at Sat- tar, Pawar addressed him in the treasury benches and said, “Ab- dul Sattar, I am sur- prised that you have got the agriculture ministry. Dada Bhuse was looking at farmer’ issues very minutely, and I don’t know if he faced injustice (by not getting the same port- folio). I thought Bhuse was really doing a good job.
