The post-voting analysis in Dausa Lok Sabha
constituency has sparked discussions and
gossip in political circles. Amidst the chatter, the
name of Dr. Kirodilal Meena has been more talked
about that the candidate himself. The winds of
change seem to be blowing
among BJP voters, with discus-
sions revolving around Modi and

enthusiasm among supporters of
Dr. Kirodilal Meena. The heartfelt
appeal and hard work of Meena
seem to have resonated with the
voters. This comes after a pre-election campaign
against BJP, where rumors of abolishing reserva-
tions were circulated. Kirodilal Meena has been
tirelessly explaining to voters that the BJP govern-
ment will never abolish reservations; instead, it has
worked towards enhancing them. Now, everyone is
conducting booth-wise analysis to gauge the
situation accurately.
Sriganganagar district was at top in the state in
phase- 1 voting in voter turnout during the Lok
Sabha elections, thanks to the dedicated efforts of
District Collector Lok Bandhu and Superintendent
of Police Gaurav Yadav. Prior to the elections, both
officials collaborated on various innovative initiatives.
Collector Lok Bandhu introduced voter awareness
campaigns and a mobile app to facilitate voter regis-
tration and information dissemination. These efforts
significantly aided voters in navigating the electoral
process. Meanwhile, SP Gaurav Yadav worked tire-
lessly to ensure peaceful polling, coordinating closely
with officials from neighboring Punjab to conduct joint
investigations. This collaborative effort resulted in the
prevention of unwanted activities and the apprehen-
sion of several wanted criminals. Moreover, stringent
measures were implemented to curb drug trafficking
activities in the region.

Voting was 68.11 percent

The expansion of Jodh-

in a new era of conve-

city. Saturday marked a
significant milestone as
the airport welcomed the

There was a huge uproar
after the death of a kid-
ney transplant patient in
Fortis Hospital, Jaipur.
The patient was admitted
to the hospital when his
health deteriorated after
the transplant.
The patient, Naresh,
died just before his dis-

bers have filed a com-
plaint at Jawahar Nagar

Fortis Hospital of negli-
gence in treatment. But
when no action was tak-

became furious. They
refused to accept the
body and created a ruck-

mation, a police team
reached the hospital. A
few days ago, the mother
of the deceased had do-
nated a kidney to her son.
After First India re-
ported the matter, Fortis
Healthcare administra-
tion issued an official
statement saying that
Naresh’s transplant was
done on March 22 and
was discharged on
March 30 after he be-
came stable. “He was
admitted again on April

tion and urine infection.
He suddenly suffered
cardiac arrest in MICU
on Friday in the hospi-

made efforts to revive
him but failed. Medical
literature also states that
infection is the major
risk in kidney transplan-
tation,” said the hospital
administration, express-
ing deep condolences to
the family.

ofWorldWar
I witnessed a
complex in-
terplay of al-
liances, as pre-existing
agreements and treaties
pulled various nations into
the conflict. Similarly, the
Cold War rivalry led to the
formation of blocs - NATO
and the Warsaw Pact - as a
response to ideological dif-
ferences and security con-
cerns. During this period
the world remained Bipolar
between power blocs of the
US and its allies and Soviet
Union and its allies. Post
disintegrationofSovietUn-
ion in 90s, the US rose as
sole Super Power and re-
mained at the helm of glob-
al affairs till it was chal-
lenged by China - Russia
alliance. However, as seen
in recent past international
system is undergoing a
gradualtransformation,giv-
ing rise to a multipolar con-
figuration. In the realm of
international relations, the
concept of a multipolar
world order has emerged as
a defining framework for
global politics and interna-
tional affairs. This para-
digm shift is characterized
by the presence of multiple
dominant entities, typically
major nation-states, each
wielding substantial eco-
nomic, military, and politi-
cal influence on the world
affairs in the present times,
though the US, China and
Russia have an upper edge.
The growing relevance
and influence of the multi-
national political and eco-
nomic alliances like the
BRICS Plus, the Shanghai
Cooperation Organization
(SCO), G-20, G-7, African
Union(AU),GulfCoopera-
tionCouncil(GCC),theAs-
sociation of Southeast

South Asia Association for
Regional Cooperation
(SAARC) and the Quadri-
lateral Security Dialogue
(QUAD) reflects the evolv-
ingnatureofpartnershipsin
response to emerging pow-
ers and transnational chal-
lenges. Multipolarity - the
idea that there are many
important global powers,
not just a few superpowers
- is being touted by leaders,
CEOs, and economic pun-
dits as the future. Most
news headlines in global
events suggest the growing
importance of middle pow-
ers, from Turkey, India,
Brazil, South Africa to Ja-
pan, South Korea and Aus-
tralia are moving out of
shadows of existing strong
power blocs. Now, the US,
Russia, or China do not
hold the level of military
and economic power as
yielded by superpowers of
Cold War Era.
Earlier the Power blocs
mainly emerged around
shared ideological and po-
litical values, economic
considerations and security
concerns. The modern era
has brought forth a plethora
of global challenges that
transcend national borders.
Issues such as climate
change, pandemics, and
transnational terrorism ne-
cessitate multilateral coop-
eration are compelling rea-
sons to facilitate collabora-
tive efforts to address these
challenges, reflecting the
increasing importance of
flexible and adaptable part-
nerships in a rapidly chang-
ing world. The shifting alli-
ances are visible in former
Soviet republics gravitating
towardswesterninstitutions
like NATO and the Euro-
peanUnionandmajorallies
of the US, France and Ger-
many reluctant to toe US
line on Israel and Ukraine
conflicts owing to their
heavy dependence on Rus-
sia for cheap gas supply.

transcend traditional alli-

the Middle East and Asia
contribute to the multipolar
distribution of economic
power.

Middle East’s regional
power struggles exemplify
the multifaceted challenges

apart from the US and Rus-

The United States’ em-
phasis on prioritising na-
tional interests under differ-
ent administrations has led
to reassessments of tradi-
tional alliances, including
those within the European
Union. This realignment
has prompted the EU to
contemplate greater self-
reliance, multilateralism
and cooperation on defence
and security matters.
China’s Belt and Road

lysed significant changes in
global alliances. Through

ndia recently delivered BrahMos supersonic

developed jointly by India and Russia is part of a
$375 million deal and comes amidst rising tension in
the South China Sea. Export of the missile to coun-
tries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and
Egypt is on the anvil. The system delivered to Philip-
pines is shore based and marks India’s coming of age
in defence exports as it is the sale of first indigenous-
ly produced system.
Strategically speaking, the supply to the South-
East Asian country is meant to bolster its defence
needs. The Philippines is involved in a territorial and
maritime dispute with China which has threatened
Manila not to play with fire. Other countries to which
India plans to provide security assistance include Vi-
etnam, Indonesia and Thailand. China is a common
threat to all these countries.
By supporting these countries militarily India can
ensure that Beijing is kept in check.
I
hould Punjabiyat or national interest take
priority? Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s
labeling of Pakistan as a “terror supplier”
unequivocally signals India’s stance, despite the
olive branch being shown by our neighbour. Quot-
ing her father, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif,
who said, “Don’t fight wars with neighbours, open
the doors of friendship, open the door of your
hearts,” Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Sharif in-
voked the bond of Punjabiyat for better relations
between India and Pakistan.
Culturally, the Indian and Pakistani Punjab share
a deep cultural bond.
For Sikhs in India,
holy shrines like the
Kartarpur Sahib lo-
cated across the bor-
der and a conducive
atmosphere between
the two countries
will be heart-warm-
ing. Maryam Sharif
was playing this
chord when she
spoke of Punjabiyat,
a shared identity and
she herself being a
“pure Punjabi”.
Maryam’s uncle
Shehbaz Sharif also
advocated peace
last year when he
told Saudi Arabia’s
al-Arabiya news channel that Pakistan has learned
its lessons after fighting three wars with India and
urged the UAE to bring New Delhi back to the
negotiating table. Wars, he said, only brought
more misery, poverty and unemployment to the
people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi aptly re-
ferred to the situation as “supplier of aatank (ter-
ror) struggling for atta”.
Regional and cultural efforts apart, India’s stand
has been very clear on ties with Pakistan which
keeps raking up Kashmir and Article 370’s abroga-
tion every now and then. On terrorism, Pakistani
intelligence agency ISI and the army establishment
are the least trustworthy. For good neighbourly
relations India insists on a terror-free atmosphere,
no hostility or violence and no pre-conditions.

PM’S DEVELOPMENT AGENDA
Modi calls 2024 LS polls as desh ki janta ka initiative
First India Bureau
New Delhi
uring an exclu-
sive interview
with a Southern
India TV news channel
on Saturday, Prime Min-
ister Narendra Modi re-
flected on his leadership
journey spanning from
2014 to 2024, emphasis-
ing the evolution of his
vision from offering hope
to ensuring a guarantee
of development for the
people of India.
PM Modi recounted
how, during his initial
campaign in 2014, voters
yearned for change, a
sentiment he successful-
ly translated into tangible
results. By 2019, this
hope had transformed
into a steadfast belief,
culminating in 2024 with
people now viewing his
promises as guarantees,
epitomised by the popu-
lar refrain “Modi Hai Toh
Mumkin Hai” (With
Modi, It’s Possible).
“When our party won
the majority and we
formed a government,
voters, for the first time
have seen what a stable
government can do. I
first turned their hope
into belief by our policies
and now in 2024, that be-
lief is converted into a
guarantee. People take
my word for a guaran-
tee,” said Prime Minister
Narendra Modi.
Highlighting the trans-
formative impact of sta-
ble governance, PM
Modi expressed confi-
dence in the Bharatiya
Janata Party’s (BJP) abil-
ity to secure a third term
in office, citing an antici-
pated rise in vote share.
Drawing from his exten-
sive experience as both a
chief minister and prime
minister, he underscored
his commitment to serv-
ing the nation and deliv-
ering on developmental
promises.
“I bring guarantee to
the table and with my ex-
perience as a chief minis-
ter for over a decade and
a PM for a decade, peo-
ple believe in me when I
assure them of develop-
ment,” he added.
About various recruit-
ment scams and irregu-
larities in the process, the
Prime Minister said, “I
believe in giving equal
opportunities to people.
Our digital approach to
recruitment has reduced
corruption.”
Addressing concerns
regarding recruitment ir-
regularities, PM Modi
championed the BJP’s
digital approach to re-
cruitment, asserting its
role in curbing corrup-
tion and ensuring equal
opportunities for all.

Tesla’s interest in ex-

According to sources,

FROM WORLD WARS
UK’s India Gate to commemorate role of soldiers
PTI
London
local council in
the seaside re-
sort of Brighton
in south-east England has
approved plans for an an-
nual multi-faith event to
commemorate the role of
Indian soldiers in the two
World Wars at the town’s
India Gate memorial
from this October.
It was unveiled by the
Maharaja of Patiala,
Bhupinder Singh, on Oc-
tober 26, 1921, and
stands at the southern en-
trance of the Royal Pavil-
ion – one of three build-
ings in Brighton serving
as a base hospital which
treated these soldiers
from undivided India
wounded on the Western
front. These included
soldiers from the mod-
ern-day countries of In-
dia, Pakistan, Bangla-
desh, Nepal, Myanmar
and Bhutan.
“By holding a day of
remembrance, the city
can preserve the memo-
ries of the undivided In-
dia soldiers who fought
for Britain in the war and
ensure that this vital his-
tory is more widely un-
derstood and recognised
by and for contemporary
generations,” notes the
Brighton and Hove
Council’s report which
was approved at a coun-
cil meeting on Friday.
“Given the important
historical context of the
India Gate and increased
interest in the recent his-
tory of the Pavilion es-
tate, it is important that,
as a testament to the in-
ternational reputation of
the city, this multi-faith
event celebrates the undi-
vided India story as well
as embracing the India
Gate and its story,” it
concludes.
The India Gate, de-
signed by Thomas Tyr-
whitt, replaced a much
lower gate that was erect-
ed by Brighton Corpora-
tion following its pur-
chase of the Pavilion in
1850 and is described as
a dome resting on four
pillars in a style derived
from Gujarat.
The India Gate was a gift to the city from the “princes and people
of India” and was unveiled by the Maharajah of Patiala in 1921.

the ticket from Chandigarh only on So-
nia’s insistence. Former party treasurer
Pawan Bansal had the biggest claim on
the Chandigarh seat, but the Gandhi fam-
ily was said to be slightly unhappy with
the details of his account books, hence
his ticket was cut. As soon as Manish’s
ticket was announced, Sonia called Man-
ish and asked him to immediately talk to
Bansal and ask for his support. Manish
called Pawan Bansal some three-four
times but Bansal neither picked up Man-
ish’s call nor called back. After this, Man-
ish left for Chandigarh from Delhi with
his entourage and after reaching there
he contacted people close to Bansal and
sent a message to Bansal to join him in
the elections. Despite this, Bansal did
not talk to Manish. But he definitely sent
this message to Manish, ‘I am an old
Congressman, I will not oppose you in
the area, but I will not campaign for you
either.’ After this, when the high com-
mand became active, people associated
with Bansal became active in Manish
Tewari’s election campaign.

here are 6 villages located on the India-

6 villages has emerged as a big challenge for
the Election Commission. These 6 villages are
Bharatpur, Kartaniya, Amba, Badhiya, Fakirpuri
and Bisunpur. Despite claims of communication
revolution, mobile phones do not work in these
areas and there is no internet. To reach here,
one has to cross the Koriyala river by boat and
pass through 6 kilometers of forests adjacent
to Nepal, in which animals ranging from wild
elephants to leopards roam freely. This river is
also dangerous in the sense that a large number
of crocodiles are found in it. This area is also
proving to be a haven for criminals and extrem-
ists because if they come to this area after com-
mitting a crime, it becomes difficult for the police
to find them, because there is neither internet
nor electricity here. Furthermore, the criminals
easily escape to Nepal and a hospital is also 80
kilometers away from here.

ith each
passing
minute,
the hus-
b a n d
grew more frustrated.
Waiting in the car for
his wife, he kept check-
ing his watch. By the
time his wife, finally,
came out of the house,
he could not keep his
mounting anger from
erupting.
“How could you keep
me waiting like this?”
He shouted, “You are
always late! Why can’t
you for once, get ready
on time?”
The wife burst into
tears and went back into
the house. At that mo-
ment, the husband real-
ized his blunder. His
reaction had made
things worse. He turned
off the car, sighed deep-
ly and slowly followed
her inside.
This presents a realis-
tic scenario. When we
speak without thinking,
we often say things, we
later regret. It can be
difficult to think clearly
when one feels angry or
hurt. Especially with
family members, any at-
tempt to communicate
our feelings can easily
deteriorate into blaming
or criticizing the
other person,
thus provoking
an argument.
How can we
keep our emo-
tions from get-
ting the better of
us? One can ask one-
self, ‘Is what I am plan-
ning to say true? Or is it
an exaggeration, spo-
ken in anger?’ This
question can help one to
separate one’s feelings
from facts. By taking a
realistic view of matters
and speaking calming,
agreeable words, one
can keep one’s feelings
from clouding one’s
thoughts.
A husband can ask
himself, ‘Even if my
wife needs to work on
being punctual, is it true
that she is always late?
Is this the best time to
bring this matter up?
Will angry, critical
words ever motivate her
to improve?’ Asking
such questions can help
avoid unintentionally
hurting those, one
loves.
It is usually far better
to accentuate the posi-
tive aspects of any situ-
ation. A well-thought-
out approach may likely
be far more effective
than an emotional out-
burst. Marriage thrives
in a peaceful environ-
ment.
If discussions repeat-
edly end up in an argu-
ment, partners need to
look below the surface,
considering the feelings
behind the choice of
words. What one says,
when under pressure,
reveals a lot about what
one is inside. One’s
speech reflects one’s in-
nermost thoughts and
attitudes.
Is one’s outlook on
life realistic and opti-
mistic? Then the tone of
voice will reflect that.
Does a partner tend to
be pessimistic or judg-
mental? One may not be
aware of how negative
one’s thinking has be-
come, even believing
that his/her way of
looking at things is cor-
rect, but it could be self-
deception.
Frank communica-
tion does not mean say-
ing everything one is
thinking and feeling at
any given moment. Un-
controlled expression of
anger is a mark of weak-
ness, not of strength.
Rather than humiliat-
ing, spouses must allow
each other a measure of
dignity. When it is nec-
essary to correct, one
can do it in such a way
that the other person
would appreciate being
corrected. Would one
want to be bluntly re-
buked before friends?
Would one like to be
badgered over every
trivial error?
It is easy to underes-
timate the impact of our
words, facial expres-
sions, and body lan-
guage on others. One
wife said, “It hurts me
deeply when
my husband
angrily raises
his voice at
me.” Strong
words may ex-
ert greater
force on a wom-
an than on a man
and may stay with
her for a long time.
This is true of words
spoken by someone a
person loves and wants
to respect.
If partners use words
that are too strong, un-
kind or harsh to each
other, it leaves hurt feel-
ings. This might cause a
lasting crack in their
relationship. Good part-
ners are considerate, not
demanding. Husbands
and wives can have a
considerable influence
within the family, for
good or for bad. They
can examine them-
selves in the light of
such questions: “Do I
remain calm when my
spouse is irritated? Or
do I make issues over
matters of little sig-
nificance?”
Making allowanc-
es for individual
t e m p e r a m e n t s ,
changing moods
and upset mental
states helps. When
an emotional storm
seems to be brewing,
the time to stop the
quarrel is before it
starts. The husband can
overlook minor lapses,
and the wife can avoid
complaints reaching the
stage of nagging. Being
ready to commend
when things are done
well aids in reducing
mountains to molehills.
“When problems
arise,” says a husband,
“I am determined to re-
solve them with loving,
gracious words.” There
is an old saying, “Many
waters themselves are
not able to extinguish
love, nor can rivers
themselves wash it
away...” Yes, grace the
marriage with love, for
nothing eclipses it.

REVELATION

finds herself at the
centre of a romantic
saga involving Bollywood power
couple Ranveer Singh and Deepi-
ka Padukone. It all began when
Kareena made the bold decision to
step away from Sanjay Leela
Bhansali’s magnum opus “Goli-
yon Ki Rasleela: Ram Leela.” Lit-
tle did she know, her exit would
pave the path for the blossoming
romance between Ranveer and
Deepika, both on and off-screen.
In a recent interview, Kareena
delved into the concept of destiny,
affirming her belief that some
things are simply written in the
stars. When questioned about
whether the grateful duo had ex-
pressed their appreciation for her
unintentional matchmaking, Ka-
reena remained philosophical, as-
serting that what’s meant to be
will find its way, regardless
of earthly interventions.
Reflecting on her
journey, Kareena
couldn’t help but pon-
der the what-ifs, in-
cluding the possibility of
her romance with now-
husband Saif Ali Khan
kicking off earlier had
she not passed on “Kal

she remains steadfast
in her belief that tim-

trusting in the
cosmic orches-

to guide her path.
Meanwhile, the entertainment
world eagerly anticipates the up-

Drake Disses Kendrick
he rap battlefield is
heating up as Drake
drops yet another
bombshell in the
ongoing feud with
Kendrick Lamar. In his latest
track, Taylor Made Freestyle,
the 6 God doesn't hold back, de-
livering blistering verses aimed
squarely at Lamar while also
throwing some shade at Taylor
Swift.
The track, which follows
Drake's earlier hints at a diss
track titled Push Ups, aims
Lamar with a ferocity that's hard
to ignore. But what's truly sur-
prising about Taylor Made
Freestyle is the inclusion of two
hip-hop legends, Tupac Shakur
and Snoop Dogg, whose voices
are brought to life through artifi-
cial intelligence by none other
than Drake himself.
In a jaw-dropping moment,
Shakur's voice can be heard call-
ing out Lamar, urging him to step
up and make his mark on hip-hop
history. Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg
delivers a scathing indictment of
Lamar's current position in the
rap game, suggesting that he's
posted up without a clue of
what to do next.
But it's Drake's bars that steal
the show, as he confidently as-
serts his dominance and sets the
stage for Lamar's response. With
lines like The next one is really
'bout to bring out the coward in
you, Drake makes it clear that
he's not backing down anytime
soon.
Yet, amidst the lyrical on-
slaught, Drake also takes a play-
ful jab at Taylor Swift, referenc-
ing her recent album and sug-
gesting that Lamar may need her
approval before dropping his
next move. It's a clever nod to
the complex dynamics at play in
the music industry, adding an-
other layer of intrigue to the on-
going feud.

First India Bureau Jaipur 58.28%voting took place in first phase of Lok Sab- ha elections in the state. Interestingly, the differ- ence in voting percentage between men and women has decreased compared to 2019 as this difference was 2.24 percent in 2019, which reduced to 1.86 percent in the first phase of elections in 2024. In Sikar, Churu and Jhunj- hunu, the voting percent- age of women was more than that of men. The voting percentage of men in Sikar was 56.26 percent while 58.92 percent of women voters used the franchise. Similarly, in Jhunjhunu too, 51.92% male voters cast their votes while fe- malevoterswere54.03%. In Churu, the turnout of male voters was 63.51%, while that of female vot- ers was 63.71%. Notably, the voting percentage of voters above 85 years of age was 60.37% as out of about 2 lakh 70 thousand voters, about 1.63 lakh voted in the first phase. There were 24,370 polling stations in 12 con- stituencies of the first phase where newly mar- ried couples, disabled, third gender, tribals, old people and youth partici- pated enthusiastically. POST-VOTING ANALYSIS: DR. KIRODILAL MEENA STIRS ENTHUSIASM IN DAUSA DIST SRIGANGANAGAR DISTRICT TOPS STATE IN VOTER TURNOUT OF PHASE-1 POLLS The post-voting analysis in Dausa Lok Sabha constituency has sparked discussions and gossip in political circles. Amidst the chatter, the name of Dr. Kirodilal Meena has been more talked about that the candidate himself. The winds of change seem to be blowing among BJP voters, with discus- sions revolving around Modi and ‘Baba’. Now, there is growing enthusiasm among supporters of Dr. Kirodilal Meena. The heartfelt appeal and hard work of Meena seem to have resonated with the voters. This comes after a pre-election campaign against BJP, where rumors of abolishing reserva- tions were circulated. Kirodilal Meena has been tirelessly explaining to voters that the BJP govern- ment will never abolish reservations; instead, it has worked towards enhancing them. Now, everyone is conducting booth-wise analysis to gauge the situation accurately. Sriganganagar district was at top in the state in phase- 1 voting in voter turnout during the Lok Sabha elections, thanks to the dedicated efforts of District Collector Lok Bandhu and Superintendent of Police Gaurav Yadav. Prior to the elections, both officials collaborated on various innovative initiatives. Collector Lok Bandhu introduced voter awareness campaigns and a mobile app to facilitate voter regis- tration and information dissemination. These efforts significantly aided voters in navigating the electoral process. Meanwhile, SP Gaurav Yadav worked tire- lessly to ensure peaceful polling, coordinating closely with officials from neighboring Punjab to conduct joint investigations. This collaborative effort resulted in the prevention of unwanted activities and the apprehen- sion of several wanted criminals. Moreover, stringent measures were implemented to curb drug trafficking activities in the region. Under the leadership of BJP district president Narendra Jaisinghpura, the reins of Jaunapuria’s election campaign have been taken up. Jaisinghpura has suc- cessfully enlisted Con- gress workers and ward councillor Saini into the BJP fold, even managing to secure their member- ship by adorning them withBJP’sstole.Addition- ally, a strategic meeting was held in Naner, Galod Mandal, further fortifying BJP Sukhbir Singh Jau- napuria’s support base. In a bid to ensure a strong turnout in favour of BJPcandidate Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria from the Tonk-Sawai Mad- hopur Lok Sabha con- stituency, campaign strategies are being me- ticulously crafted. First India Bureau Jaipur Rajyavardhan Rathore exchanged warm greet- ings with the ‘ gaurav senanis’ and engaged in meaningful dialogue re- garding soldier welfare and various related initia- tives. All shared their ex- periences, reaffirming their dedication to the nation-building path. Cabinet minister Ra- jyavardhan remarked, “Your sacrifice and patri- otism will always inspire us towards national ser- vice. The Congress be- trayed our soldiers for decades in the name of One Rank One Pension. However, PM Modi im- plemented One Rank One Pension, providing dignity to our soldiers and assisting their fami- lies in leading honorable lives. The Congress gov- ernment compromised national security by en- gaging in defense deals, but Modi govt has prior- itized national security.” He emphasized that India’s defense expendi- ture has not only doubled but also increased mani- fold in the defense sector. Today’s India is differ- ent, responding to terror- ists in their own language with decisive action. First India Bureau Jaipur In the first phase of Lok Sabha elections, the vot- ing percentage in 12 seats of the state has been less as compared to the previ- ous elections. In Jaipur, voting was 5.24 percent less than the last election. Voting was 68.11 percent in 2019 while only 62.87 percent this time. In the Jaipur Lok Sab- ha seat, the voting per- centage in Sanganer As- sembly was reduced by 8.21 percent as compared to the last election, while the lowest margin was 0.40 percent in Kishan- pole Assembly. Although 1.63 lakh new voters were there this time, the difference of those who did not vote increased by 1.72 lakhs. To increase the voting percentage in Jaipur Lok Sabha constituency, the District Election Depart- ment had made innova- tions for an increased youths’ participation. Home voting facility was provided for the first time in the Lok Sabha elec- tions. Rewards for the first 50 voters at booth and VoteQ app were also there. Voting percentage, however, remained less than the last election. It is believed that heat could have played a major role in causing the difference. First India Bureau Jaipur The party’s optimism is palpable as they express hopes of sweeping all seats in the first phase of polls. Speculation is rife that BJP’s support base remains intact, reflecting in their anticipated votes. The disappointment looming over Congress’ camp, attributed to the despondency in their strongholds, seems to be providing BJPwith a sig- nificant advantage, say the sources. In a bold assertion, the Chief Minister himself has proclaimed BJP’s as- piration to clinch all 12 seats, instilling further confidence in the party’s campaign. Moreover, the assurance of secur- ing additional victories in the remaining 13 seats adds to BJP’s reas- surance. Notably in the last two elections party along with alliance in Nagaur had won all the 25 seats of the state. First India Bureau Jaipur BJP’s State in-charge Vi- nay Sahasrabuddhe said that voters do not want to change the gov- ernment led by PM Modi, hence voting percentage may remain low. “However, there are other reasons for low turnout, which include in- tense summer heat and people being busy with weddings. Despite this, it is true that there has been a decrease in voting per- centage, but despite the decreaseinvotingpercent- age, BJP’s victory is cer- tain,” Vinay Sahasrabud- dhe was presenting his views to the media on the low turnout in 1st phase of Lok Sabha polls in Ajmer on Saturday. When the govt has to be changed, voters vote loudly. When it has to be kept in place, the enthusi- asm among the people is a little less, he said. First India Bureau Churu In Churu, BJP leader Ra- jendra Rathore has ap- parently neutralised Con- gress’ traditional vote bank through diplomacy. It is being said that the traditional vote was pro- portionately less. In such a situation, there was special discus- sion among Rathore sup- porters that if BJP wins this seat, Rajendra Rathore will also get a political gift. However, Rathore is now supposed to focus on Kota and other seats including Chittorgarh. Addressing the crowd during the out- reach, Choudhary re- marked, “BJP is only in- dulging in politics in the name of development.” First India Bureau Nagaur After the voting in the Nagaur Lok Sabha con- stituency, candidates are now seen in a relaxed mood. Following this, the fate of 9 candidates is now sealed in the EVMs for the next 45 days. With the conclusion of the vot- ing, the candidates are also now seen in a re- laxed mood. In the Nagaur Lok Sabha elections, the candidate of the INLD alliance, Hanuman Beniwal, relaxed at his residence in Nagaur. Beniwal spent most of his time indoors, talking to people on his mobile phone. However, sup- porters outside continued to speculate on the out- come. While Hanuman Beniwal remained in- doorsmostofthetime, his supporters discussed elec- tion results over cups of tea, and then dispersed. BJP candidate Dr. Jy- oti Mirdha quickly sprang into action, as usual. As soon as she was free from her daily rou- tine, she started meeting supporters at her resi- dence. After meeting at a couple of places, she re- turned to her residence in Amarsingh Colony to meet supporters. Meeting with people has contin- ued since the end of voting. People are coming, reviewing the elections. Supporters have been told to focus on completing stalled projects for the common people, leaving aside speculations. First India Bureau Jaipur Himanshi Gehlot, daugh- ter-in-law of former CM Ashok Gehlot and wife of Congress candidateVaib- hav Gehlot from Jalore- Sirohi Lok Sabha seat, is in the news. On Saturday, during a program at Revdar in Sirohi, she touched feet of BJP candidate Lum- baram and took blessings. Vaibhav Gehlot is in the election field against Lumbaram. Rajiv Gaur Jodhpur The expansion of Jodh- pur’s airport is ushering in a new era of conve- nience for travelers com- muting to and from the city. Saturday marked a significant milestone as the airport welcomed the availability of nine addi- tional aircraft parking spaces. This newfound capacity alleviates the previous reliance on Udaipur, where aircraft were redirected due to inadequate space. More- over, the prospect of ac- commodating up to 12 aircraft at Jodhpur airport further enhances its op- erational capacity. The sight of numerous charter flights parked at the airport on Saturday underscored the tangible benefits of this expan- sion initiative. This de- velopment not only en- hances travel efficiency but also reflects positive- ly on the region’s eco- nomic growth. The commendable ef- forts of Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekha- wat in spearheading this expansion project have garnered widespread ap- preciation from the local populace. First India Bureau Jaipur The inauguration of the underpass on March 15th at the B2 bypass inter- section brought relief to commuters traveling be- tween Jawahar Circle and Mansarovar, making their journey smoother. However, the road be- tween Durgapura and Sanganer remains closed, causing incon- venience to travelers. For several months, the road remained closed due to the ongoing pro- ject, but for the past one month and five days, the construction of ramp has led to its continued clo- sure. The elevation of the intersection due to the construction of the un- derpass has left the road surface two meters high- er. While vehicles on one side of the intersection enjoy easier access, those traveling between Durgapura and Sanganer are experiencing delays due to the ongoing con- struction work. Vinod Singh Chouhan Jaipur Agriculture Minister Kirodi Lal Meena has written a letter to the Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma alleging scam worth crores of ru- pees going on in selling lands in the name of ERCP. he outbreak ofWorldWar I witnesseda complex in- terplay of al- liances, as pre-existing agreements and treaties pulled various nations into the conflict. Similarly, the Cold War rivalry led to the formation of blocs - NATO and the Warsaw Pact - as a response to ideological dif- ferences and security con- cerns. During this period the world remained Bipolar between power blocs of the US and its allies and Soviet Union and its allies. Post disintegrationofSovietUn- ion in 90s, the US rose as sole Super Power and re- mained at the helm of glob- al affairs till it was chal- lenged by China - Russia alliance. However, as seen in recent past international system is undergoing a gradualtransformation,giv- ing rise to a multipolar con- figuration. In the realm of international relations, the concept of a multipolar world order has emerged as a defining framework for global politics and interna- tional affairs. This para- digm shift is characterized by the presence of multiple dominant entities, typically major nation-states, each wielding substantial eco- nomic, military, and politi- cal influence on the world affairs in the present times, though the US, China and Russia have an upper edge. The growing relevance and influence of the multi- national political and eco- nomic alliances like the BRICS Plus, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), G-20, G-7, African Union(AU),GulfCoopera- tionCouncil(GCC),theAs- sociation of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), South Asia Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and the Quadri- lateral Security Dialogue (QUAD) reflects the evolv- ingnatureofpartnershipsin response to emerging pow- ers and transnational chal- lenges. Multipolarity - the idea that there are many important global powers, not just a few superpowers - is being touted by leaders, CEOs, and economic pun- dits as the future. Most news headlines in global events suggest the growing importance of middle pow- ers, from Turkey, India, Brazil, South Africa to Ja- pan, South Korea and Aus- tralia are moving out of shadows of existing strong power blocs. Now, the US, Russia, or China do not hold the level of military and economic power as yielded by superpowers of Cold War Era. Earlier the Power blocs mainly emerged around shared ideological and po- litical values, economic considerations and security concerns. The modern era has brought forth a plethora of global challenges that transcend national borders. Issues such as climate change, pandemics, and transnational terrorism ne- cessitate multilateral coop- eration are compelling rea- sons to facilitate collabora- tive efforts to address these challenges, reflecting the increasing importance of flexible and adaptable part- nerships in a rapidly chang- ing world. The shifting alli- ances are visible in former Soviet republics gravitating towardswesterninstitutions like NATO and the Euro- peanUnionandmajorallies of the US, France and Ger- many reluctant to toe US line on Israel and Ukraine conflicts owing to their heavy dependence on Rus- sia for cheap gas supply. RESURGENCE OF POWER CENTRES Thecurrentgeopoliticalmi- lieu is characterized by glo- balisation and international trade fostering a network of economic relationships that transcend traditional alli- ances. The nations such as the United States, China, Russia, the European Un- ion, and regional powers in the Middle East and Asia contribute to the multipolar distribution of economic power. TheSouthChinaSeadis- pute, Russia’s assertiveness in Eastern Europe, and the Middle East’s regional power struggles exemplify the multifaceted challenges with entry of new players apart from the US and Rus- sia-Chinaallianceswhoare making impact on the events and happenings. The United States’ em- phasis on prioritising na- tional interests under differ- ent administrations has led to reassessments of tradi- tional alliances, including those within the European Union. This realignment has prompted the EU to contemplate greater self- reliance, multilateralism and cooperation on defence and security matters. China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has cata- lysed significant changes in global alliances. Through extensiveinfrastructureand economic projects, China hasforgednewpartnerships acrossAsia,Africa, and Eu- rope. The Middle East has wit- nessed unprecedented alli- ance shifts, particularly with Israel’s growing diplo- matic normalisation with Gulf states like the United ArabEmiratesandBahrain. Sharedconcerns overIran’s influence and regional sta- bility have prompted these nations to forge new part- nerships,signallingapoten- tial realignment of geopo- litical interests in the region The Indo-Pacific region has experienced notable shifts, notably with the Quadrilateral Security Dia- logue(Quad)gainingprom- inence. Comprising the United States, Japan, India, andAustralia,Quadreflects strategicalignmenttocoun- terbalance China’s influ- ence. As Ukraine faces securi- tychallenges, itsaspirations for NATO membership have led to full-fledged war with Russia and much-ex- pected support from US al- lies like France Germany got diluted owing their en- ergy compulsions of pur- chase of Gas from Russia. THE VIEWS EXPRESSED BY THE AUTHOR ARE PERSONAL TOP TWEETS SPIRITUAL SPEAK It is better to live your own destiny imperfectly then to live an imitation of somebody else’s life with perfection. BHAGAVAD GITA India’s diplomatic efforts have focused on forging partnerships, promoting integration, and enhancing its influence in regions like the Indo-Pacific and finally emerged as new voice of global south. India has implemented re- forms and pursued policies to attract investment and boost trade. Its robust eco- nomic growth and market potential have contributed to its increasing influence within new world order. India’s proximity to Russia has been accepted by the US in order to align India with her mutual interest in countering growing Chinese influence. Russia has been a traditional reliable partner and Indian stand on Ukraine war and purchase of Russian gas at subsidised rates despite the US sanctions has enhanced mutual trust between the two. India must create synergy with Russia and Israel for defence, Middle East and Russia for energy, China for manufacturing, and the US and western allies for finance, technology and software to further its acceptability as an acknowledged extra regional power. India needs to build good- will through trade, mutual development, and people- to-people exchange to evolve as most acceptable global negotiator to avoid global conflicts and wars. EVOLVINGMULTI POLARWORLD EMERGENCEOFEXTRAREGIONALPOWERS India’s position in the evolving world order has been significantly influenced by engaging with nations such as China, Russia and Brazil through platforms like G-20, the BRICS Plus, SCO and the US, Japan through the QUAD. This has bolstered India’s influence and international acceptability IN-DEPTH PHILIPPINES IS EQUIPPED WITH BRAHMOS MISSILE PUNJABIYAT DOES NOT GUARANTEE SINCERITY ndia recently delivered BrahMos supersonic cruise missile system to the Philippines Ma- rine Corps. The supply of the missile system developed jointly by India and Russia is part of a $375 million deal and comes amidst rising tension in the South China Sea. Export of the missile to coun- tries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Egypt is on the anvil. The system delivered to Philip- pines is shore based and marks India’s coming of age in defence exports as it is the sale of first indigenous- ly produced system. Strategically speaking, the supply to the South- East Asian country is meant to bolster its defence needs. The Philippines is involved in a territorial and maritime dispute with China which has threatened Manila not to play with fire. Other countries to which India plans to provide security assistance include Vi- etnam, Indonesia and Thailand. China is a common threat to all these countries. By supporting these countries militarily India can ensure that Beijing is kept in check. I hould Punjabiyat or national interest take priority? Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s labeling of Pakistan as a “terror supplier” unequivocally signals India’s stance, despite the olive branch being shown by our neighbour. Quot- ing her father, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who said, “Don’t fight wars with neighbours, open the doors of friendship, open the door of your hearts,” Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Sharif in- voked the bond of Punjabiyat for better relations between India and Pakistan. Culturally, the Indian and Pakistani Punjab share a deep cultural bond. For Sikhs in India, holy shrines like the Kartarpur Sahib lo- cated across the bor- der and a conducive atmosphere between the two countries will be heart-warm- ing. Maryam Sharif was playing this chord when she spoke of Punjabiyat, a shared identity and she herself being a “pure Punjabi”. Maryam’s uncle Shehbaz Sharif also advocated peace last year when he told Saudi Arabia’s al-Arabiya news channel that Pakistan has learned its lessons after fighting three wars with India and urged the UAE to bring New Delhi back to the negotiating table. Wars, he said, only brought more misery, poverty and unemployment to the people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi aptly re- ferred to the situation as “supplier of aatank (ter- ror) struggling for atta”. Regional and cultural efforts apart, India’s stand has been very clear on ties with Pakistan which keeps raking up Kashmir and Article 370’s abroga- tion every now and then. On terrorism, Pakistani intelligence agency ISI and the army establishment are the least trustworthy. For good neighbourly relations India insists on a terror-free atmosphere, no hostility or violence and no pre-conditions. PM’S DEVELOPMENT AGENDA Modicalls 2024 LS polls as desh ki janta ka initiative First India Bureau New Delhi uring an exclu- sive interview with a Southern India TV news channel on Saturday, Prime Min- ister Narendra Modi re- flected on his leadership journey spanning from 2014 to 2024, emphasis- ing the evolution of his vision from offering hope to ensuring a guarantee of development for the people of India. PM Modi recounted how, during his initial campaign in 2014, voters yearned for change, a sentiment he successful- ly translated into tangible results. By 2019, this hope had transformed into a steadfast belief, culminating in 2024 with people now viewing his promises as guarantees, epitomised by the popu- lar refrain “Modi Hai Toh Mumkin Hai” (With Modi, It’s Possible). “When our party won the majority and we formed a government, voters, for the first time have seen what a stable government can do. I first turned their hope into belief by our policies and now in 2024, that be- lief is converted into a guarantee. People take my word for a guaran- tee,” said Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Highlighting the trans- formative impact of sta- ble governance, PM Modi expressed confi- dence in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) abil- ity to secure a third term in office, citing an antici- pated rise in vote share. Drawing from his exten- sive experience as both a chief minister and prime minister, he underscored his commitment to serv- ing the nation and deliv- ering on developmental promises. “I bring guarantee to the table and with my ex- perience as a chief minis- ter for over a decade and a PM for a decade, peo- ple believe in me when I assure them of develop- ment,” he added. About various recruit- ment scams and irregu- larities in the process, the Prime Minister said, “I believe in giving equal opportunities to people. Our digital approach to recruitment has reduced corruption.” Addressing concerns regarding recruitment ir- regularities, PM Modi championed the BJP’s digital approach to re- cruitment, asserting its role in curbing corrup- tion and ensuring equal opportunities for all. Also, there is a larger population of educated voters, making it easier to reach them. Voters from Purvanchal and Uttarakhand also have a large vote bank and BJP has fielded a relatively weak candidate on the Chandigarh seat. Manish had taken his request to Sonia Gandhi and he also met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Sources reveal that Manish was given the ticket from Chandigarh only on So- nia’s insistence. Former party treasurer Pawan Bansal had the biggest claim on the Chandigarh seat, but the Gandhi fam- ily was said to be slightly unhappy with the details of his account books, hence his ticket was cut. As soon as Manish’s ticket was announced, Sonia called Man- ish and asked him to immediately talk to Bansal and ask for his support. Manish called Pawan Bansal some three-four times but Bansal neither picked up Man- ish’s call nor called back. After this, Man- ish left for Chandigarh from Delhi with his entourage and after reaching there he contacted people close to Bansal and sent a message to Bansal to join him in the elections. Despite this, Bansal did not talk to Manish. But he definitely sent this message to Manish, ‘I am an old Congressman, I will not oppose you in the area, but I will not campaign for you either.’ After this, when the high com- mand became active, people associated with Bansal became active in Manish Tewari’s election campaign. S here are 6 villages located on the India- Nepal border near Bahraich in Uttar Pradesh. Conducting elections in these 6 villages has emerged as a big challenge for the Election Commission. These 6 villages are Bharatpur, Kartaniya, Amba, Badhiya, Fakirpuri and Bisunpur. Despite claims of communication revolution, mobile phones do not work in these areas and there is no internet. To reach here, one has to cross the Koriyala river by boat and pass through 6 kilometers of forests adjacent to Nepal, in which animals ranging from wild elephants to leopards roam freely. This river is also dangerous in the sense that a large number of crocodiles are found in it. This area is also proving to be a haven for criminals and extrem- ists because if they come to this area after com- mitting a crime, it becomes difficult for the police to find them, because there is neither internet nor electricity here. Overall, tomorrow is a day to focus on your career and make the most out of the opportunities presented to you. With a positive and determined attitude, success is within your reach. Keep up the hard work, Taurus, and watch your professional life flourish. SHIVAJI SATAM Taurus APRIL 21 Lucky Number: 3 Lucky Colour: Brown ith each passing minute, the hus- b a n d grew more frustrated. Waiting in the car for his wife, he kept check- ing his watch. By the time his wife, finally, came out of the house, he could not keep his mounting anger from erupting. “How could you keep me waiting like this?” He shouted, “You are always late! Why can’t you for once, get ready on time?” The wife burst into tears and went back into the house. At that mo- ment, the husband real- ized his blunder. His reaction had made things worse. He turned off the car, sighed deep- ly and slowly followed her inside. This presents a realis- tic scenario. When we speak without thinking, we often say things, we later regret. It can be difficult to think clearly when one feels angry or hurt. Especially with family members, any at- tempt to communicate our feelings can easily deteriorate into blaming or criticizing the other person, thus provoking an argument. How can we keep our emo- tions from get- ting the better of us? One can ask one- self, ‘Is what I am plan- ning to say true? Or is it an exaggeration, spo- ken in anger?’ This question can help one to separate one’s feelings from facts. By taking a realistic view of matters and speaking calming, agreeable words, one can keep one’s feelings from clouding one’s thoughts. A husband can ask himself, ‘Even if my wife needs to work on being punctual, is it true that she is always late? Is this the best time to bring this matter up? Will angry, critical words ever motivate her to improve?’ Asking such questions can help avoid unintentionally hurting those, one loves. It is usually far better to accentuate the posi- tive aspects of any situ- ation. A well-thought- out approach may likely be far more effective than an emotional out- burst. Marriage thrives in a peaceful environ- ment. If discussions repeat- edly end up in an argu- ment, partners need to look below the surface, considering the feelings behind the choice of words. What one says, when under pressure, reveals a lot about what one is inside. One’s speech reflects one’s in- nermost thoughts and attitudes. Is one’s outlook on life realistic and opti- mistic? Then the tone of voice will reflect that. Does a partner tend to be pessimistic or judg- mental? One may not be aware of how negative one’s thinking has be- come, even believing that his/her way of looking at things is cor- rect, but it could be self- deception. Frank communica- tion does not mean say- ing everything one is thinking and feeling at any given moment. Un- controlled expression of anger is a mark of weak- ness, not of strength. Rather than humiliat- ing, spouses must allow each other a measure of dignity. When it is nec- essary to correct, one can do it in such a way that the other person would appreciate being corrected. Would one want to be bluntly re- buked before friends? Would one like to be badgered over every trivial error? It is easy to underes- timate the impact of our words, facial expres- sions, and body lan- guage on others. One wife said, “It hurts me deeply when my husband angrily raises his voice at me.” Strong words may ex- ert greater force on a wom- an than on a man and may stay with her for a long time. This is true of words spoken by someone a person loves and wants to respect. If partners use words that are too strong, un- kind or harsh to each other, it leaves hurt feel- ings. This might cause a lasting crack in their relationship. Good part- ners are considerate, not demanding. Husbands and wives can have a considerable influence within the family, for good or for bad. They can examine them- selves in the light of such questions: “Do I remain calm when my spouse is irritated? Or do I make issues over matters of little sig- nificance?” Making allowanc- es for individual t e m p e r a m e n t s , changing moods and upset mental states helps. When an emotional storm seems to be brewing, the time to stop the quarrel is before it starts. The husband can overlook minor lapses, and the wife can avoid complaints reaching the stage of nagging. Being ready to commend when things are done well aids in reducing mountains to molehills. “When problems arise,” says a husband, “I am determined to re- solve them with loving, gracious words.” There is an old saying, “Many waters themselves are not able to extinguish love, nor can rivers themselves wash it away...” Yes, grace the marriage with love, for nothing eclipses it. Bolly To Holly JAIPUR,SUNDAY | APRIL 21, 2024 11 firstindia.co.in firstindia.co.in/epapers/jaipur thefirstindia thefirstindia thefirstindia oachella 2024 has once again p r o v e n why it’s the ulti- mate destination for mu- sic lovers worldwide, with Weekend 2 deliver- ing a show-stopping sur- prise that left fans buzz- ing with excitement. Lana Del Rey, the ethe- real queen of melancholic melodies, took centre stage and brought out a special guest that nobody saw coming. In a jaw-dropping mo- ment that captured the essence of Coachella’s electrifying atmosphere, Lana welcomed none other than Camila Ca- bello to join her on stage. The dynamic duo didn’t just perform together; they ignited the crowd with a sensational rendi- tion of Cabello’s latest hit, “I Luv It.” As the desert air shim- mered with anticipation, Camila strutted onto the stage, exuding confi- dence and charisma. With Lana by her side, the two songstresses transported the audience into a realm of pure mu- sical magic, delivering a performance that will be etched in Coachella history. While Cami- la mesmerized the crowd with her infectious energy and pow- erhouse vocals, Lana played the role of the en- chanted observer, soaking in the eu- phoria from the balcony of the stage prop. Yet, true to form, Lana couldn’t resist joining in on the fun, lending her hauntingly b e a u t i f u l voice to the mix during the song’s climax. And as fans continue to bask in the afterglow of Lana and Camila’s epic performance, they eager- ly anticipate what magi- cal moments await at Coachella’s next chapter. Coachella COLLAB n the glamorous world of Bolly- wood, love often blossoms amidst the glitz and glam of the silver screen. For Aish- warya Rai Bachchan and Ab- hishek Bachchan, their love story transcended the bounda- ries of reel life and became a real-life fairytale. As the couple celebrates an- other year of marital bliss, fans are revisiting the magical mo- ment whenAishwarya realized she was officially ‘Mrs Bach- chan.’ Amidst the excitement of their honeymoon getaway to Bora Bora, it was a simple yet profound moment on their flight that solidified their un- ion. As the air hostess warmly welcomed her aboard as ‘Mrs Bachchan,’ the reality of her newfound marital status hit Aishwarya like a bolt of light- ning, sparking laughter and love between the newlyweds. But it’s not just Aishwarya who cherishes their bond; Ab- hishek Bachchan’s unwaver- ing support and adoration for his wife are evident in his words and actions. In a candid interview, he expressed his joy in celebrating her achievements and standing by her side through thick and thin, de- bunking outdated notions of masculinity in the process. Their love story, rooted in mutual admiration and respect, has captured the hearts of mil- lions worldwide. From their first meeting on the sets of “Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke” to the grandeur of their wedding day,Aishwarya andAbhishek’s journey together has been nothing short of a Bollywood blockbuster. As they mark 17 years of to- getherness, Aishwarya and Ab- hishek continue to inspire with their timeless love story, proving that true love knows no bounds,on-screen or off-screen. I C Aishwarya’s honeymoon REVELATION n a twist of fate fit for the silver screen, Ka- reena Kapoor Khan finds herself at the centre of a romantic saga involving Bollywood power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepi- ka Padukone. It all began when Kareena made the bold decision to step away from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus “Goli- yon Ki Rasleela: Ram Leela.” Lit- tle did she know, her exit would pave the path for the blossoming romance between Ranveer and Deepika, both on and off-screen. In a recent interview, Kareena delved into the concept of destiny, affirming her belief that some things are simply written in the stars. When questioned about whether the grateful duo had ex- pressed their appreciation for her unintentional matchmaking, Ka- reena remained philosophical, as- serting that what’s meant to be will find its way, regardless of earthly interventions. Reflecting on her journey, Kareena couldn’t help but pon- der the what-ifs, in- cluding the possibility of her romance with now- husband Saif Ali Khan kicking off earlier had she not passed on “Kal Ho Na Ho.” However, she remains steadfast in her belief that tim- ing is everything, trusting in the cosmic orches- trations of destiny to guide her path. Meanwhile, the entertainment world eagerly anticipates the up- coming blockbuster “Singham Again,” where Kareena, Ranveer, and Deepika will share the screen in what promises to be a cinematic spectacle of epic proportions. With Ajay Devgn reprising his iconic role and a star-studded ensemble cast including Akshay Ku- mar, Tiger Shroff, andAr- jun Kapoor, fans are in for a rollercoaster ride of action, drama, and un- doubtedly, a dash of destiny-fueled romance. KAREENA on Romance I Drake Disses Kendrick he rap battlefield is heating up as Drake drops yet another bombshell in the ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar. In his latest track, Taylor Made Freestyle, the 6 God doesn't hold back, de- livering blistering verses aimed squarely at Lamar while also throwing some shade at Taylor Swift. The track, which follows Drake's earlier hints at a diss track titled Push Ups, aims Lamar with a ferocity that's hard to ignore. But what's truly sur- prising about Taylor Made Freestyle is the inclusion of two hip-hop legends, Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg, whose voices are brought to life through artifi- cial intelligence by none other than Drake himself. In a jaw-dropping moment, Shakur's voice can be heard call- ing out Lamar, urging him to step up and make his mark on hip-hop history. Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg delivers a scathing indictment of Lamar's current position in the rap game, suggesting that he's posted up without a clue of what to do next. But it's Drake's bars that steal the show, as he confidently as- serts his dominance and sets the stage for Lamar's response. With lines like The next one is really 'bout to bring out the coward in you, Drake makes it clear that he's not backing down anytime soon. Yet, amidst the lyrical on- slaught, Drake also takes a play- ful jab at Taylor Swift, referenc- ing her recent album and sug- gesting that Lamar may need her approval before dropping his next move. It's a clever nod to the complex dynamics at play in the music industry, adding an- other layer of intrigue to the on- going feud. T n a capti- v a t i n g twist of mother- daughter dynamics, Lisa Rinna and her daughter, De- lilah Hamlin, are set to share the screen for the first time in Life- time’supcomingthrill- er, “Mommy Mean- est.”Thefilmpromises to deliver a spine-chilling tale of cyberbullying and maternal betrayal, drawing inspiration from real-life events. Rinna, best known for her iconic roles on television, steps into the shoes of Madelyn, a mother whose insecurities manifest in a sinister campaign of cyber- bullying against her daugh- ter, Mia, portrayed by Bri- ana Skye. As Mia grapples with the tormenting mes- sages from an unknown sender, she must navigate the treacherous waters of maternal deceit and manip- ulation. Meanwhile,Hamlintakes on the role of Mia’s support- ive friend, Summer, provid- ing a beacon of light amidst the darkness. Born to Hol- lywood royalty, Hamlin’s foray into acting has been marked by a string of im- pressive performances, making her a rising star to watch. With a gripping plot and powerhouse performances from its cast, “Mommy Meanest” promises to be a nail-biting thriller that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats. As the mystery unfolds and tensions esca- late, viewers will be drawn into a web of deception and betrayal that hits uncom- fortably close to home. Drawing inspiration from a chilling true story of cyberbullying, “Mommy Meanest” sheds light on the dangers of unchecked parental control and the devastating impact it can have on young lives. Mark your calendars for May 11th, when “Mommy Meanest” premieres exclu- sively on Lifetime.
