This document provides product information for MOLYKOTE® 165 LT gearwheel grease. It is an extreme pressure gearwheel grease for highly stressed open gears with a peripheral speed up to 2.5 m/s. The grease has a high load-carrying capacity and protects against wear and corrosion while reducing existing pitting. It is suitable for open gears subjected to high stresses and weather effects, as well as transmission gears. The grease has a black color, density of 0.96 g/ml, and drop point of 175°C. It provides good lubrication at temperatures from -25°C to +120°C.
