Jesus performed two miracles. First, he walked on water during a storm to meet his disciples who were in a boat struggling against the wind and waves. When Peter tried to walk on water toward Jesus, he began to sink from doubt but Jesus saved him. Second, in Gennesaret, many sick people were brought to Jesus on mats and all who touched the edge of his clothes were healed.

Nehemiah gets a vision from God for doing something great!
He gets the people together – he gets the material together – he draws up plans - and he is flat out going to rebuild this wall around his hometown of Jerusalem!
Nehemiah launches into an amazing effort to re-build the wall around Jerusalem – something nobody had been able to do for 80 years! He was literally going to "Fix a Broken Dream".
The punch line of the whole story is found in Nehemiah 6:15.
“So the wall was completed… in fifty-two days.” Neh. 6:15
This was incredible! Something people had failed at for 80 years! In spite of all the odds, Nehemiah was able to finish rebuilding a wall in less than two months! It was an incredible accomplishment!
Why? Why was Nehemiah so successful?
It all comes down to this – Nehemiah DIDN’T QUIT! He refused to stop! He refused to give up! But I want you to know something.
He had EVERY REASON to quit! There were so many things that came at him – it would have been easy to give up! But he didn’t! He kept going, and he completed his project in record time!
A super-achiever is somebody who is DETERMINED.
I don’t know what you might be thinking – and I don’t know what might be getting you down. But I don’t believe you’re looking at this presentation by accident!
I believe God brought you here, to my "Slide Share" account, to read this posting, to tell you this:
DON’T GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS!
Don’t give up on the vision you have for your life, or for your job, or for your business, or for your ministry, or for your future!
Please promise me you won’t give up on your dreams!
There is one more thing to remember about your vision… you have to keep at it! If you get discouraged – if you get complacent – if you give up too early – you won’t get it done!
So – you have to keep your dreams alive – you have to keep your vision focused – and you have to keep at it! And that’s what we’re going to talk about in this presentation.
Nehemiah was a great example for all of these.
And we can see the same great leadership traits in Jesus.
Both Nehemiah and Jesus were "SERVANT LEADERS".
Being a servant leader means that you are willing to lead with both...
BROKENNESS AND HUMILITY.
This presentation will give examples, quotes, and Bible verses to reference.
I hope it is a blessing to you!
We are told to confess, but seldom talk about it. Our confession often reveals how we think of and deal with our sin before God. In this lesson we will learn from King Saul and King David’s confession of sin some things that we must not do and must do when we confess our sins.

This is the concluding sermon in the series, Jesus' Last 100 Days. On this Easter sermon we will consider why it is that we struggle to accept the notion that Jesus rose from the dead. We will see how both the 12 and the female followers of Jesus ignored his many predictions of his death and resurrection and explore how this transformational belief is an essential step for the disciple of Christ.

Audio-Visual Entrainment: Applying Audio-Visual Entrainment Technology for At...Mind Alive
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
(ADHD) are unique attentional disorders which primarily involve slowed frontal brain wave
activity and hypo-perfusion of cerebral blood flow in the frontal regions, particularly during
tasks such as reading. A variety of disorders, such as anxiety, depression and Oppositional
Defiant Disorder (ODD), are often co-morbid with ADD, thus creating a plethora of
complications in treatment procedures. Audio-Visual Entrainment (AVE) lends itself well for the
treatment of ADD/ADHD. AVE exerts a major wide spread influence over the cortex in terms of
dominant frequency. AVE has also been shown to produce dramatic increases in cerebral blood
flow. Several studies involving the use of AVE in the treatment of ADD/ADHD and its related
disorders have been completed. AVE as a treatment modality for ADD/ADHD has produced
wide-spread improvements including secondary improvements in IQ, behaviour, attention,
impulsiveness, hyperactivity, anxiety, depression, ODD and reading level. In particular, AVE
has proven itself to be an effective and affordable treatment of special-needs children within a
school setting.

This series entitled 24 focuses on one of Jesus' longest days of ministry... a non-stop 24 hour day described in Matthew 14, Mark 6 and Luke 9. Today's message is entitled "Can't shut down if I try!" We will see Jesus make several attempts to get alone and recharge, but time and time again Jesus is interrupted. All the while, He invites others to rest, and continues to show compassion on needy people. Here is an example for us to follow when immersed in the needs of others.
24_Handling the Pressures of Nonstop Days: Walking on WaterStephen Palm
In this sermon we explore Jesus' miracle of walking on water. We will see how he compelled the disciples to go ahead of Him in a boat, and then how he used this as an opportunity to show them His glory. We will also explore how Jesus first dismissed the crowds to get alone with His Father, and we will consider our unique 21st century challenge. How do we dismiss the crowds when we are constantly carrying our crowds with us?

Renewed in Grace
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
