4. Step 1: read the text silently to

Annotate on the right of the text whether the
passages are important or if they are just details.

6. Step 3: rephrase the main points to write
your summary.
Remember not to include details and to keep it
short.
Also, remember to check the punctuation (capital
letters, full stops, commas)
