Nearly 40% of children in our country will go to bed each night without their biological father in the home. Blankenhorn, Fatherless America 1995.
One-fourth (25%) of America's children live in mother-only families. U.S. Census Bureau 2000
Approximately 29% of white and 66% of black children do not live with their biological father. National Center for Health Statistics
The United States is now the world's leader in fatherless families. U.S. Census Bureau 1996. And since then its gotten worse!
In Dr. Robert Lewis’s course on authentic manhood, he points out these stats regarding men.
If a child is the first person in a household to become a Christian, there is a 3.5 percent probability that everyone else in the household will follow.
If the mother is first, there is a 17 percent probability that everyone else in the household will follow.
But if the father is the first person in a household to become a Christian, there is a 93 percent probability that everyone else in the household will follow.*
Out of 94 million men in the United States, 68 million don't attend any church, but 85 percent of those say they grew up with some sort of church background
