overwhelming…so much information it is

1 Samuel 16:13 (ESV Strong’s) 13 Then Samuel
took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of
his brothers. And the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon
David from that day forward. And Samuel rose up
and went to Ramah.

14. From the time that David is anointed, he waits
about 15 years to become King over Judah.
Then David has to wait through another 7
years of civil war between House of David and
House of Saul before he is finally named king
of all Israel.
Over 20 years between anointing and naming:
refining season for what he would be doing.
