L’importanza di visualizzare costantemente l’insieme delle diverse attività afferenti ad un progetto, e il relativo stato di avanzamento, è una delle caratteristiche fondamentali degli strumenti di Visual Management. Grazie ad essi si può dar luogo ad una immediata condivisione degli obiettivi e avere prontezza degli eventuali problemi, adottando velocemente opportune strategie di risoluzione. Dei vari strumenti di Visual Management, la Kanban Board, nelle varie forme, è probabilmente il rappresentante più noto, ma è in buona compagnia.
