2. Starter
• Draw a spider diagram with Tudors in the middle. We will be
adding to this diagram during this half term. Write down as
much information about the Tudors that you can remember
from Primary School.
• Who were the Kings and Queens?
• What important events happened during the reign?

3. Who were the Tudors?
The Tudors were a family that ruled England
and Wales from XXXX to XXXX- one of the
most exciting periods of British history. They
ruled for XXXX years. The first Tudor King was
XXXX and his granddaughter XXXX was the last.
TASK Sort the timeline as a table and copy it into your
books.
TASK: You will need to work out – using the timeline.
Extension: Write two sentences comparing the reigns of two different Tudor
Monarchs.
For example; Henry VII reigned for XXX where as Henry reigned for XXX

4. What was Britain like in 1485?
• 1485 – 1750 is a period of great change. But how different
was Britain in 1485 to modern day?
• Examine the Spider Diagram on page 7.
• Write out at least three of the arms – Compare this to
modern day.
• Transport – The rich road on horseback, the poor walked. –
Most people drive, the poorest still walk.
