John 9:1-12
The disciples question why a man was born blind, revealing their judgmental spirit rather than compassion. Jesus heals the man's blindness to display God's works, telling the man to wash in Siloam. Though initially uncertain, neighbors recognize the formerly blind beggar. The man simply states he was blind but now sees, without understanding Jesus' true identity.

It describes their interaction, where Jesus initially refuses but is eventually moved by the woman's display of great faith. The document concludes with lessons about having great faith, God's grace for Gentiles, an example prayer, and persevering in prayer.
This document discusses how crises can open one's mind and soften one's heart. It describes three crucial crises in the author's life that helped them become less judgmental of others. The crises included a dream at a homecoming party that challenged the author's view of helping those different than themselves, and a moment at Urbana 1990 that made them question being conceited. The document advocates emulating Christ's attitudes of compassion rather than self-righteousness, and examines how Saul's conversion experience on the road to Damascus transformed him from a persecutor of Christians to the apostle Paul.
This document is a sermon that distinguishes between Christian "hype" and Christian "hope". It argues that hype promotes a gospel of salvation from suffering, while hope promotes a gospel of salvation through suffering, as exemplified by Jesus. The sermon uses the story of the disciples on the road to Emmaus to show how Jesus interpreted the scriptures to reveal how the Messiah had to suffer before entering glory. It concludes that true Christian faith is based not on hype but on the realized and future hopes of resurrection.
John's Gospel describes in eyewitness detail how Jesus was crucified and was buried.
Each detail fulfills a prophecy from the Old Testament about how the Messiah would suffer.

The man had four sons and wanted to teach them not to judge things too quickly. He sent each son on a quest to look at a pear tree in the distance. When they returned, he asked them to describe what they saw to learn that they had all perceived it differently without taking the time to observe closely.
The women went to Jesus' tomb to anoint his body but found the stone rolled away. Inside, a young man told them not to be afraid and that Jesus had risen. He told them to inform the disciples that Jesus would meet them in Galilee, as he had said. Trembling, the women fled and told no one because they were afraid.

130707 chi jesus' temptation by ps. peter calvineaglepointcf
Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert where he fasted for 40 days and was tempted by Satan. Satan tempted Jesus to turn stones into bread when he was hungry, offered him authority over all the kingdoms of the world if he worshipped Satan, and challenged Jesus to throw himself from the highest point of the temple and have angels save him. Each time, Jesus responded by quoting scripture to defend himself. Satan tried to manipulate Jesus' needs, offer shortcuts, and twist scripture to challenge Jesus' faith, but Jesus relied on knowing and properly interpreting the Bible to withstand each temptation.
The passage describes an encounter between two disciples of Jesus named Cleopas and Matthias, and a mysterious stranger on the road to Emmaus after Jesus' crucifixion. As they discuss their doubts about Jesus being the Messiah after his death, the stranger joins their conversation. He then expertly explains to them prophecies from the Old Testament that foretold Jesus as the Messiah who would be sacrificed for the sins of mankind. By connecting the scriptures to Jesus' life, death and resurrection, the stranger's teachings begin to rekindle the disciples' faith in Jesus as the promised Messiah.

It covers the topics of murder, adultery, and the need for genuine repentance according to Ezekiel 18:30-32. Key points include Jesus saying that looking at a woman with lust is adultery, God hating divorce due to its impact on families, and the need to get a new heart and spirit through repentance in order to live.
The document discusses issues related to missionary work in Sudan including water access, roads, and ongoing war. The document calls for prayers, financial support, and those willing to go serve as missionaries in Sudan.

We will consider how to remain strong when we get a double dose of bad news.

“If we know how good God is and we are created in His image and likeness then our speech and lives should be a creation of what He created and not look like destruction.”
Although Jesus never sinned, He knows what it would feel like if God had to give you the judgment for the sins that you have committed because He paid the penalty and price for them.

A lot of people will say they are praying and waiting on confirmation, but they are really waiting to what they want to do. If they were really waiting for confirmation they would be praying and looking for confirmation but their mind is already made up. They are waiting to hear their voice talk to them again to hear their next step.
“Some of us add our own stipulations in worship. Some people worship and open their eyes an peak around. Some people worship and are uncomfortable because they think everybody is looking at them. They are worried about if their mascara is going to run or if they 're going to look ugly. But why are you concerned about who's looking you? This is not worshiping in spirit and in truth. When you do this you take the authority from Christ and give it to yourself. If you have to scream, scream, if you have to holler, holler, but if you are in worship and you are thinking about the game afterwards, what you want to eat, what you have to do afterwards, then you are not worshipping in spirit and in truth.”
This document discusses why repentance is important and how Lucifer's pride led to his downfall. It notes that:
1) God requires repentance so that we do not end up like Lucifer, who rebelled against God due to pride in his position and beauty.
2) Lucifer thought he could exalt himself above God, his creator, because of how he was made and what he was created to do.
3) Continuing to rebel against God can cause his holiness and covering over us to go into remission, just as Lucifer was kicked out of God's presence for his disobedience.
“Satan wants you to pretend like you’re saved so when true salvation shows up you won’t recognize it. He doesn't want you to know that even though you’re not saved, you’re on a journey to salvation. He wants you to get off the journey. He cares less about the salvation. You can church so much that you believe you’re saved and that’s what the churches want you to do. You can church so much that when salvation shows up, you won’t even recognize it.”
This document discusses the differences between judgment and conviction. It explains that believers should judge disputes between believers and unrepentant sin or false doctrine, following biblical steps. However, believers should avoid judging others' motives or outward appearances. To avoid a judgmental spirit, one must be forgiving, generous, and a learner rather than a critic. Conviction of sin comes through the Holy Spirit and is necessary for repentance. True conviction illuminates sin for others and causes them discomfort around believers.
Most people who have a hard time forgiving themselves are self-righteous. They make themselves right in every light and then come around finding wrong in everything. Some people are in such denial that when they hear something is wrong with them and get convicted, they go fix it because they don’t want to be associated with that. But whatever the case may be you are fixing yourself. You’re self righteous.
The document discusses the purpose of worshipping God. It makes three key points:
1) Worship is giving adoration and respect to God as the creator, rather than anything created. True worship requires worshipping God in spirit and truth.
2) Speaking in tongues during worship helps break through any attempts by the enemy to prevent worship. It allows worshippers to change plans under the Holy Spirit's guidance.
3) All gifts of the Spirit manifest during worship. True worshippers worship God from the heart in spirit and truth.
You have to believe. We are capable of believing because everybody believes in something. You either believe you are pretty, your forehead is big, you believe your tall, you believe many things about you. When you believe your real height, then you can stop acting like your tall. Because you are functioning in the wrong height, it brought the wrong things to you. You were handling stuff bigger than you.
This document contains excerpts from a sermon or teaching discussing various biblical topics and concepts. Some key points discussed include: shifting from one mindset or identity to another; fleeing from temptation rather than resisting it; making the choice to confirm one's faith in actions like Jesus did; and shifting from manifesting based on current circumstances to manifesting from an identity of what should be. The overall message discusses changing one's mindset and identity through biblical principles.

It argues that true holiness comes from understanding that one is already holy due to God's declaration, rather than through self-effort. It says holiness allows one to have clarity of purpose and withstand opposition. However, many have their own ideas of holiness rather than understanding God's perspective. True holiness requires obedience and suffering, but allows for joy regardless of circumstances. One must let go of their own ideas and submit to God's purpose to attain holiness.
The document discusses two high-ranking demons in the church: the religious demon and the vampire spirit. The religious demon's purpose is to absorb, kill, steal, and destroy, and it tries to institutionalize the church. It suppresses its true personality and pretends to be sincere. The religious spirit and vampire spirit feel constantly judged. The document encourages spiritual preparation and discernment of demons through Scripture.
“Everything is backed by a spirit. Everything is speaking the food you eat is a spirit, what you wear is a spirit). The food you eat, how you dress, all of it is a spirit.”
Remorse is being sorry you got caught. Suppose you‘re driving fast and got caught by the police (because you broke the speed limit). You are remorseful because had you not got caught you would have kept driving fast. Repentance is being sorry enough to stop what you are doing and change your behavior.
Being inconsistent can be the root of serious failure in many lives because of being away from God and His word. It most often does not start with serious offenses, but small things.
This document discusses the concept of divine favor and how it can impact a person's life. It notes that divine favor is a reward from God for acts of obedience and faithfulness. When divine favor is upon a person, they can experience influence among people, access to opportunities, exaltation, and new life. Divine favor is connected to a person's assignment from God, righteousness, wisdom, and being prepared to properly steward what God entrusts to them. Examples are given of people who wasted God's favor, such as Solomon and Hezekiah.
The document discusses the meaning and effects of division. It defines division as something that separates or divides. Division often arises from strife, disputes, or differing viewpoints among members of the church. A divisive person causes offenses and does not follow biblical teachings, seeking their own interests over unity. True reconciliation requires repentance, restoration of relationships, and humility in admitting wrongs rather than fighting accusations. Unity within the body of Christ is important, as division goes against God's purpose and character of order.
Christians are often accused of being hypocrites. However one should judge Christianity not on the basis of what fakers do, but on the basis of what Jesus taught and how He lived.”
What is happening as a result of religion is a false authority coming from the pulpit to set the people under the authority of man and remove them from under the authority of God.
“All church is, is family. If you can’t create family out of the people you gather with it can’t be church. Jesus forgave, He doesn’t hold anything against you, He died for you. If you have all those things you will create a family and that’s what God wants back. Church is not a business or organization, it’s a family.”
“People ordained to do something for Jesus have no fixed salary, are not in denominational organizations, and they lay down their life because God has given them the sustaining power they need to not charge for the Gospel when they have the right to. Their dependency comes from the power of God not the number of people in the seats. They have the power to ask God to touch the hearts of the people to give and God will lay it upon the ears of the people.”
Prophets will sometimes give you instructions on how to repent to God for Him to possibly relent. Where there is repentance there is hope. Sin brings judgment but God’s forgiveness brings rejoicing.
The document provides a summary of chapters 1-4 of the Book of Jonah and the entire Book of Obadiah from the Old Testament.
The Book of Jonah tells the story of Jonah disobeying God's command to preach to Nineveh and instead fleeing by boat. During the storm caused by his disobedience, Jonah is thrown overboard and swallowed by a large fish. After repenting, Jonah completes his mission and preaches to Nineveh, causing the entire city to repent. Jonah is angry that God spared Nineveh.
The Book of Obadiah concerns God's judgment of Edom for mistreating Israel when Jerusalem was attacked. Obadiah prophesied
“God chooses prophets from birth; there is no school of the prophets. If a person does go to school what are they appointed over? Prophets are given territories. If nobody appoints you over a territory, then you start working witchcraft.”
Prophetic teaching has a powerful anointing to break witchcraft, bondages, and strongholds over a church. Prophets are able to find the error in a church a break it into pieces by using the Word of God
“In our mind is where we have all the mental nonsense. The thoughts to be or not to be, the noise is etc. So guess what the mind is - the mind is the lie. That’s where all the lies are, in your mind. For example, just the way you think, your imagination, the thought of you're no good, the thought of you’re a failure, the thought of lust, the thought of masturbation, the thought God doesn’t want me, the thought you can’t live holy, it’s a lie.”
“There is one Spirit and He is all sufficient, so if you have Him, He is all the power you need. People lack the faith to believe that He is all powerful, that’s why they ask for more of Him. People ask for more of Him thinking that He comes in levels or intervals.”
This document discusses the importance of having a relationship with Jesus and being filled with the Holy Spirit. It states that without the Holy Spirit, people cannot see as God sees and are prone to sin because they try to take ownership of themselves. It emphasizes that the essence of all sin is unbelief in what Jesus did on the cross to pay for sins. The document encourages truly believing in order to receive the Holy Spirit, which has the power to keep sin from recurring.

A375 Example Taste the taste of the Lord, the taste of the Lord The taste of...franktsao4
It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

1. 05.27.12 Sunday Service
Ephesians 5:1-5
“A lot of people’s problems (even today’s Christians) wouldn’t have if they imitate Jesus. You
cannot claim Jesus and act another way. You cannot mix Jesus with whatever else you see
and expect your sin to go away.”
Ephesians 1:4-7
“Before God formed the foundation of the world we were already chosen and our destiny set,
but it’s only in following Jesus that you get there.”
“Understand the sins we committed were expensive and Jesus paid it all by giving His life for
us, but continuing to sin will allow your grace to run out.”
2 Corinthians 12:7
“How can you expect to call on Jesus after you sin when your grace can’t cover the sin you
have committed.”
“If we continue to focus on Jesus, not only is grace secured, but you will know that you
cannot afford to sin.”
Ephesians 1:13-14
“People can hear the word of truth, but there is a big difference between hearing and believing.
You cannot mix God’s truth with what you believe. Having the Holy Spirit activates the truth
you have heard because His truth is holy and is a guarantee to allow you to focus and follow
to fulfill His plan and purpose and not your own plans.”
2. Ephesians 1:19-23
“Believing God with the Holy Sprit allows and gives you the strength when you cannot handle
things on your own. You will also know exactly what you can and cannot handle on your own.
You cannot place what is supposed to be under Jesus' feet under your own. He has the strength
to crush that thing. If you try to crush it with you own feet, you might cut your foot off.”
Ephesians 2:1-5
“People who claim to follow Jesus and people who claim to have Jesus but still follow ways of
the world imitate life but are spiritually dead. The love of God is not enough to satisfy them so
they still like to hang around sin and keep sin around.”
Luke 16:13
Ephesians 4:17-19
“When you talk about and mention God but live like the world, you are serving two masters. It’s
like being in a so-called love triangle. It seems like everything is good with one person, but the
moment that person messes up and does something you don’t like, you run to the other
person.”
John 8:42-47
“You cannot expect to hear God while partaking in sin, yet alone believe what He says while
partaking in sin.”
Ephesians 5:8-14
“What is the point of saying you want Jesus, but you are being intimate with sin?”
3. “The more you get to know something is the more you begin to imitate it.”
“If you are following Jesus our job is to imitate Him and eliminate darkness because you are
supposed to be carrying light.”
“Even if you are supposed to be walking with God, you won’t even look right sinning.”
Ephesians 5:15-20
“Living in today’s world as a Christian you have to be careful of who and what you allow
around you.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11-12
“The Holy Spirit will allow you to make wise decisions to get to know Him, not sin.”
“Getting to know God and believing truth with the Holy Spirit will keep you focused, not to be
swayed no matter how good sin might look.”
“Allow yourself to be intimate with God.”
