True Acceptance Is money the answer to your problems? V2&3 says Zacchaeus was rich and had a high position, yet he still sought to find out about Jesus. Paul said in Philippians 4:11-13-  11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.  12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.  13 I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
True Acceptance What’s stopping you from seeing Jesus face to face? What’s Your handicap? Lack of self confidence Lifestyle Other’s opinions about you What things or people are in your life that may be drawing you away from Christ?
True Acceptance What are you going to do about it? V4 says Zacchaeus ran ahead and climbed up into a tree to see Jesus. How far are you willing to go to meet Him? You have to do something you’ve never done to go where you’ve never been. Think outside ‘your’ box
True Acceptance No matter what you’ve done, you can be SURE that Jesus will acknowledge your efforts to seek Him. V5 Jesus said to him, “Zacchaeus, (“Pure”) come down quickly for today I must stay at your house.” V6 Zacchaeus comes down quickly and receives Jesus joyfully. When the crowds saw this they said, “He is hanging out with a sinner!” But Jesus called him Pure. We treat people the way we see them!
True Acceptance When we look at people, we tend to see the outward, but Jesus sees people in the Image of our Father, God. Genesis 1:27-So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.  1 John 4:20-   If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
