This document discusses the concept of divine favor and how it can impact a person's life. It notes that divine favor is a reward from God for acts of obedience and faithfulness. When divine favor is upon a person, they can experience influence among people, access to opportunities, exaltation, and new life. Divine favor is connected to a person's assignment from God, righteousness, wisdom, and being prepared to properly steward what God entrusts to them. What causes favor to come upon a person:
“Favor is connected to our assignment.” (Mary – Luke 1:30) (Jesus – Luke
2:52)(Nehemiah – Nehemiah 1:10)
“Be careful not to waste the favor of God.” (Saul – 1 Samuel 15:10-23)
“Favor is connected to a set time.” - Psalm 102:13, Psalm 31:15
“In between times of favor are times of preparation for favor and we must
remain faithful to the assignment given to us.”
“Favor is connected to righteousness.” – Psalm 5:12, Proverbs 3:34, Proverbs 12:2
2 Things God wants us to keep in our hearts:
Mercy – Compassion
Truth – Integrity, honesty, uprightness

“When God knows that we can handle what He will give us, He will bestow

“Receiving God’s favor is a work of grace. How we steward the favor of
God will determine if we progress in our assignment.”
