and shown in films. Can the Holocaust actually be represented ethically, in a way that honors the

representations, especially film? Critics argue both sides of this question; some stating that the movie,
Schindler s List, trivializes the Holocaust; whereas, others defend the film. This paper will look at

In regards to one positive critique of the film, Schindler s List, Richard Kearney believes that fiction

While watching the teacher read to students there was little questions asked during reading, but at the
end, they make a prediction quickly and then check the prediction with the end of the book. I would
have asked more prediction questions throughout the book and also given students more time to think
about the story and how it differs from a version they have heard before.
For the beginning letter assessment sheet at the end, I would have included in the instruction to use
lower case letters for all things that are not proper nouns, and then do a quick review of what words
should get an upper case letter. I also would have taken time with students to go over any possible
confusion they might have with pictures or letters, by working briefly with them to check their work.

The first murder that occurred is the car accident. Tom and Jay Gatsby had a forceful quarrel over
Daisy. This dispute left Daisy tense and puzzled. Daisy left the hotel with Gatsby. Gatsby decided to
let her drive to calm her nerves. As they were passing the gas station that Myrtle and George Wilson
lives in, Myrtle started running toward the vehicle as if she was trying to get it to bring to a halt. Daisy

mistress. Daisy did not stop after hitting Myrtle, instead she sped off (Baker). Once Nick, Tom, and
Jordan passed the gas station, they saw the commotion and decided to stop and check it out. They
found out that the car Daisy and Gatsby departed in had hit and killed Myrtle (Baker). Once they got
back to the residence, Nick confronted Gatsby when he saw him standing in the shrubbery. Gatsby

Juror #3 loses his temper and eventually breaks down and says not guilty. It is not until the end of the
film that the audience fully understands why Juror #3 is hostile and angry. He hinted earlier in the
movie that his son and he got into a fight and his son left. This anger that he shows through the movie
is the anger that he has for his son leaving. Because of this anger, he does not think critically. He heard
the basic facts and made his decision off of that. Without questioning the evidence, he is quick to form
an opinion and defend it despite the other details presented by the other jurors. He lacks the ability to
successfully critically think because he does not analyze the evidence nor does he present his own
arguments skillfully. He only defends his stance based off of personal pathos which hinders his ability
