 "Land" means any land belonging to any person, and walls,
buildings, trees, etc., permanently installed thereon.
 Solid part on the surface of earth.
 Immovable property
 Ownership can be transferred

5. LAND ACQUISITION ACT
 Enacted in Nepal under ‘Land Acquisition Act, 1977’.
 Process by which state or government acquires the
private land.
 For industrialization, development of infrastructure and
urbanization.
 Provides compensation to the affected owners.

 Good impact in the agriculture based
