1. 3rd Economics & Finance Conference, Rome, Italy
The International Institute of Social and Economic Sciences and the University of
Economics, Prague, Faculty of Economics invite you to participate in 3rd Economics and
Finance Conference to be held in April 14-17, 2015 in Rome, Italy, in Starhotels Metropole. We
welcome scholars, researchers, as well as corporation and government executives. You can
present your research work or just attend.
Submitted papers that will pass succesfully the peer review process will be contained in
the conference proceedings, which will be published by Elsevier in the scientific journal
Procedia Economics and Finance. The issues of this journal have been so far indexed at the Web
of Science.
The Economics & Finance Conference is focused on the following topics:

International Economics
Finance and Banking
IISES is an important international society of economists, social scientists and educators,
founded to promote education and scientific research.
Our conference enables you to present your research, meet new colleagues and improve
your research skills. Attending a scientific conference is always a great opportunity to do some
networking. This can help you to start new projects, find collaborators or jobs.
Certificate of presentation will be issued to participants presenting their research in
sessions or in e-session.
Certificate of chairing a session will be issued to chairs acknowledging their role at the
conference.
Best Paper Award will be conferred by the Program Committee to the author(s) of the
best paper presented at the conference.
For those who cannot attend personally we offer participation in an e-session. Also a
group of participants can organize a workshop in English or in a different language.
Call for papers
The length of an article should be 6 - 12 pages (including title page and references).
Please upload your paper in registration form in doc or docx format. Within two weeks
from receiving your paper we will let you know if it is accepted for presentation.
Decide the form of your presentation: you can present your work either as a regular
presentation or electronically in an E-session. We welcome also researchers willing to organize
their own panels or workshops.
Regular Presentation: You will have up to 20 minutes time for your presentation. It is
recommended to speak no longer than 15 minutes and let at least 5 minutes for discussion.
Please bring your presentation on a USB flash drive. Each presentation room will be equipped
with a laptop and a screen for PowerPoint presentations. The laptop will be set up for
powerpoint presentations. Transparency projectors are not provided. Assume there may not be
internet access.
E-Session: If you want to present your paper without attending the conference, you can
use an E-session. Your work will be presented electronically using Microsoft PowerPoint with
narration(voice-over). If you need advise or more instructions on how to prepare your
presentation, we will be happy to help you. Please contact us by E-mail. You can upload your E-
session presentation in your registration form. Edit link to the registration will be sent after its
approval.
Panel: A panel session may be organized by a group of four or more people who give
their regular presentations on a given subject. Please fill all the information in your registration
form.
2. Workshop: A group of participants may organize a workshop also in a different
language than English. If you want to organize a workshop, please give us its title, the names of
participants and outline briefly the aims of the workshop in your submission form.
Be aware of the deadlines of submission and registration.

Registration fees
300 euro per participant for payments received until March 14, 2015
350 euro per participant for payments received after March 14, 2015
100 euro per additional paper if presenting more than one paper at the conference.
Attenging only participants and attending co-authors also pay the registration fee.
It is not possible to pay the registration fee after the conference.
Conference sessions and other conference events are open only to registered participants.
The fee includes:
Admission to the conference, one paper to be presented, a printed copy of the conference
program, publication of an accepted paper in the Elsevier´s journal Procedia Economics and
Finance, peer reviewing of one paper to be published in one of our journals, welcome reception,
one lunch, coffee breaks and social program – bus tour.
Registration fee does not include accommodation and transportation.
Cancellation:
A full refund will be given for cancellations received until March 14, 2015. Cancellation fee is
20 euro.
A 50 % refund will be given for cancellations received after March 14 until March 31, 2015.
No refund will be given for cancellations received after March 31, 2015.
The registration fee cannot be transferred to another conference.
The IISES reserves the right to cancel the conference in the case of natural dissaster, strike,
goverment regulation or any other unpredictable event making it impossible to hold the
conference. If a conference has been cancelled, the IISES will only be responsible for returning
the participant´s registration fee.

Social program
Complimentary bus tour to Assisi
The bus leaves at 9.00 from the conference hotel.
After about 2,5 hours we come to Assisi, a famous and beautifil medieval city built on a hill. It is
the birthplace of Saint Francis, who founded the Franciscan Order.
The Franciscan structures of Assisi are listed as World Heritage Site. You must not miss the
Franciscan Monastery and the Lower and Upper Church of St Francis built in 1253. The lower
church has frescoes by the late-medieval artists Cimabue and Giotto; in the upper church
frescoes of scenes in the life of St. Francis can be admired.
You should also visit the Cathedral of San Rufino built in the 8th century and rebuilt in 11th
century.
We will be back in the conference hotel at about 18.00. The time of return is approximate and
cannot be guaranteed.
Lunch and entrance fees are not included.
Your spouse or child is welcome to join us for 50 euro per person.
