The circulatory system, also called the cardiovascular system or the vascular system, is an organ system that permits blood to circulate and transport nutrients (such as amino acids and electrolytes), oxygen, carbon dioxide, hormones, and blood cells to and from the cells in the body to provide nourishment.

4. The cardiovascular system comprises of the heart,
blood, blood vessels and lymphatic system. The
function of the cardiovascular system is to
circulate blood through a network of vessels
throughout the body to provide individual cells
with oxygen and nutrients and help dispose of
metabolic wastes.
The cardiorespiratory system consists of the lungs,
heart, blood vessels, and the blood. The cardio
respiratory system is responsible for the uptake of
oxygen from the inspired air, for the transport of
oxygen around the body, and for the removal of
waste products from muscles and other organs.
