• Managing the entire flow of base operations for Secure Drilling Services – All equipment and
personnel followed a rigid workflow when at the base – very much from the whole Supply
Chain process through to the Business Unit expectations with safety being at the forefront of
all operations – from office to worksite
• Responsible for all MPD/UBD operations at rig site from safety, technical through to day to day
operations
• Provide technical support to client representative as required both on location and in office
• Comprehensive support for all field technicians and engineers – training, mentoring and
logistics
• Provide on-site training for client, drilling contractors, and third party personnel
• Understanding financial metrics and the balance sheet to ensure operations not only ran safely
but also cost effectively
• Enforce all Weatherford, Client and drilling contractor safety protocols

• Pre Job - Undertake extremely detailed rig surveys
• Pre Job - Engineering/Design - Generate all schematics independently including piping and
instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), process flow diagrams (PFD), detailed subsea stack up
layouts.
• Pre Job – Process hydraulic modelling and prepare feasibility studies accordingly
• Pre Job - Prepare job-specific operating procedures in regards to MPD/UBD practices and well
control
• Pre Job – Prepare, document and approve full UBD and MPD packages prior to job loadout.
• On the job – Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed and documented correctly – eg, Daily
report, client service tickets, safety meetings, toolbox talks, delivery tickets, stock requisition,
permit to work, STOP cards, equipment failure, pressure testing, JSAs…to name but a few
• On the job - Ensure routine equipment service and maintenance is executed correctly and
proficiently
• On the job - Ensure all equipment is rigged up safely as per drawing, tested as per procedure,
operated and maintained as per procedure and rigged down as per procedure in a safe and
timely manner
• On the job – Troubleshooting - Analyse and resolve mechanical, electronic, hydraulic and IT
problems that may arise
