use, revision, translation, improvement and sharing

- Whenever possible, be available in formats that are
accessible to people with disabilities and people who
do not yet have access to the Internet.

Paris OER Declaration, 2012
Recommends States to foster awareness and promote
use of OER, in order to facilitate several advantages
including;
- reduce barriers and widening access to education at
all levels
- improve cost efficiency in teaching and learning
- encourage teachers to produce and share high quality
educational resources, and
- enhance quality of teaching and learning.
